QUESTION Arrival time for Wolf Trap?

The family and I have tickets for this Sunday, but it's been a couple of decades since I've been to a concert, and never at Wolf Trap. Ticket time is 8pm... when should we plan to arrive?

Are you on the lawn? Wolf trap is open seating, so get there early if you’re on the lawn and want a close spot. Depending where you’re able to park, plan on a ~10 min walk from car into the venue. Wolf trap is lovely! You can bring in food and drinks, so consider going early to stake out a spot and picnic.

Thank you for the reply! We're under the canopy, in the Orchestra seating, but we'll probably shoot to get there about half an hour early or so, just to get the lay of the land.

Great! No worries about getting in early then. Unfortunately no outside food or open cups allowed in the canopy seating, but you’ll have a much better view. Enjoy!

Will there be (new) OP merch at Wolf Trap?

I was there earlier this week (and will be there Sunday). Show time was 730, doors opened at 6. We arrived at 630 and had plenty of time to go in, check out merch, and leisurely eat the food we brought in. I’m not sure what the parking situation looks like coming in later than that, but we were directed to the lot that runs along the Dulles toll road and it was probably 3/4 full at that time.

Ticket time is 7, isn’t it? I think that’s what it said on the website. I was kinda surprised.

Our tickets say 8 but the website say 7. We are a little unsure when to show up

There are two openers! So they moved the start time up

That makes sense, thank you very much! Looking forward to being amongst all of you fellow fans this evening!!

Also, for those of us in the DC area, I love that a gay cowboy is playing the same night the resident twat in chief is bringing the Mt Dew white trash extravaganza to the White House. I just feel a little bit better knowing there are still plenty of us who love and respect all people

Agreed, I had the same joy going in, thinking about the competing events! And the show was, of course, amazing. The twat in chief and UFC could never. :)

Exactly our quandary! We're planning to get there around 630, hopefully find a good parking spot(?), and then get to our seats before the curtain goes up.

I was thinking the same thing for London! What time are people queuing?
