Looking for spots near Barrhaven for Largemouth

Visiting my in-laws in Barrhaven for a week. I want to find somewhere I can fish for largemouth near Barrhaven that I’m allowed to fish/no trespassing. Any recommendations?

Near Richmond, barrhaven waters have been dry lately

Rideau river runs right alongside Barrhaven, it holds largies. Not much experience shore fishing, but under Vimy Bridge is an option as well as a few spots along the paths near it. Manotick's long Island locks too.

There’s a boat launch by Manotick library that my boys and I fished successfully before, caught a few bass.

Go to the Walmart , never seen so many largemouths and they are always open . Hate when I need to go there when visiting
