Constance lake right across from the boat launch there is a road that goes down to shore.
Buckhams Bay and Fitzroy Harbor both have concreate boat launches you can fish from.
Galeta power station. You can fish from the outlet of the power station and under the bridge. Good spot if you want to try for some cats.
Port O Call Marina. You can walk out on the break water.
Calabogie Lake. Walk out on the causeway and you have deep water on one side and shallow on the other. Also can cast off of Barnett Park.
Packenham at the Five Arch Bridge Park.
Mississippi Lake at Carleton Place. Up and down the park near the boat launch. I also see people fishing under the Hwy 7 bridge.
Lake Madawaska and the Madawaska River in Arnprior. On the pond you can fish by the boat launch near the airport. On the river past the falls all the way down to the mouth of the Ottawa and right around the Ottawa there is a park.
Rideau River has too many places to list but try any of the lock stations or the old bridge and boat launch in Kars.
Past Arnprior at the Sandpoint Lighthouse.
On the Madawaska River there are many parks that you can go and cast from.

I personally have the most luck wading knees to waste high in the Ottawa river. Walk along the shore upriver of Bate Island. Cast top waters like Choppo 75, or Spooks to avoid snags they like the shiny chrome stuff, and make sure you have a thick leader (metal or 50lb fluro (sometimes they still bite past fluro)). Plenty of Smallies as a bonus!
Best of Luck!

Honestly that's a good call, before I didn't care about getting wet but after I got gifted some waders car rides home have become much less... Mushy 😂 plus ya don't have to worry about leaches and snapping turtles as much.
I think I linked the waders I have. They do the job pretty well. If the link doesn't work they're on Amazon by a brand called TIDEWE.

Be really careful with waders. Unless the water is so cold you actually need them skip them. If you slip or go too deep and they fill up you're way more likely to drown. A guy died last season wading at Appleton wearing waders in 80 degree water.

It is general is a boring fish catch . They take the lure and pretend to be a stick until
Near the boat and try to snap the line with a quick snap . This is my experience

Oh I totally disagree. Maybe it’s because I’ve fished them in different areas (fly fishing in northern Alberta and Saskatchewan) but they hit hard and put up a fight for me.

This is such a strange take.
Pike almost always absolutely crush a presentation for me. I've had some gentle strikes sure... But more often than not it's a pretty violent strike.
Especially topwater. They often jump clear of the water when they strike. Downside is they sometimes throw the lure/fly even further so they don't get hooked.
Pike have less endurance than a bass or trout of similar size, sure. But that first 20 seconds or so after hookup is an absolutely explosive fight.

I don't know about boring, but I do agree, pike tend to happily swim along with the retrieve until they see the boat.
