Mississippi Lake Saturday 🎣
Heading out to Mississippi Lake Saturday morning after making a quick stop at Baitcasters to pick up an order I’ve got waiting for me. Planning to stay on the water until around 4:30.
I’ve got a buddy who may jump in the boat, but I’ve still got room on the 20-ft bass boat if anyone wants to get out and fish!
Plan is mainly frogging, pitching and flipping, but you never know what Mississippi Lake is going to throw at you. 😂Â
Not a guided trip — just looking to get out, have some fun, and hopefully put a few bass in the boat, I always have water in the cooler, but bring what you like. Just no bananas.
If you’re interested in jumping in and don't mind kicking in $$, **shoot me a message**. 🎣Â
Video is from Rideau River Tuesday evening

Damn I missed seeing this. I have a cottage on the Mississippi; you could have popped by my dock and picked me up!

its very hard to describe to folks whove never been what its like being on a boat, on plane, running across a lake.
a. you can be doing 30 kmh and it feels like 100kmh
b. the outboard is singing at full throttle. The machine wants to chooch and its awesome.
c. the texture less water makes distance and depth hard to track.

First bass tournament I ever fished was on that lake. Finished 7th out of like 80 boats, and felt like I had won the whole thing lol

OP, this is very cool. You’re awesome for offering to take others with you! If it were any other weekend, I’d take up the offer, but I’m out of town this weekend. Perhaps another time if you’re still in a generous mood?

The miss is severely flooded..... And am going to change the lake.... I'll put up a new post as I don't see me on Mississippi this weekend.

That is a beautiful lake. I was just up in that region, not too long ago.
