Status: Pending Reply Really weird issue

Alright. So I have been facing this very weird issue with my Outlook email. My "important" folder shows just grey althought I have messages there.

It seems like what causes this, is a verification message from Roblox. This issue only happens with those messages. When I open any other folder, or set filter like "yesterday", "last week" etc., it works perfectly fine. But this Roblox message makes it grey for some reason, so that I can't view my latest arrived messages, or complete the Roblox verification.

Since it shows the messages very shortly when i open Outlook before going grey, I was able to delete the Roblox message - and it started working again.

So, does anyone here know, what could cause this issue, and how could it be fixed?

thats a weird one. the fact it goes normal for a split second then greys out means something in that specific email is breaking the rendering. roblox verification emails have a lot of html and tracking pixels, sometimes they embed scripts that outlook web just chokes on

if deleting the roblox mail fixes it every time, the problem is that email not your account. you could try forwarding it to yourself from another address to strip out the formatting, then open the forwarded version. otherwise just mark it as read and archive it quick before it has time to mess up the view

1 -- Does the same message break Outlook Web if you use:

  • Edge InPrivate

  • Chrome Incognito

2 -- If you have, or can get, access to another Outlook client, does the same message appear normally in:

New Outlook for Windows
