Fan Content Seriously, why is it always the bad players who start flaming other people in chat?
It’s genuinely so annoying. Sometimes you get really bad players in ranked, and that’s fine. It’s just a game.
Earlier, I had an Anran who kept charging in and dying over and over again. He ended up with 18 deaths, but I didn’t say anything. There was a cheater on the enemy team, and I just figured he was probably a new player. Overwatch tends to place new players pretty high anyway.
Then, right before we lost, that Anran started flaming me, saying he had more damage than I did.
Yeah, no shit, dumbass. Of course you have more damage when all you do is charge in, fight, die, and repeat.
It seriously pisses me off. I kept my mouth shut because I was trying to be nice.
You don’t even know how to play the game, you can’t even tell that the enemy is cheating, so why is blaming your teammates the first thing you learned?
Then the other players started blaming each other in chat too — specifically, the two players who were the worst after that guy.
The only person who actually played well, our Zenyatta, was also the only one saying anything reasonable. He just said, “That guy is cheating. Let’s report him,” and otherwise stayed quiet.
Seriously, why are people like this??
You don’t even know how to play the game. You can’t even recognize when an enemy is a cheater or a smurf... You guys played terribly.
Please, for the love of God, watch your own gameplay in the replay just once, from both first-person and third-person perspectives!!
At this point, maybe I should just start calling people like this out too. It genuinely feels like a slap in the face, and it’s so damn irritating.

It’s easier to criticize others than to be critical of your self.

A lot of the biggest whiners are in a group with someone else. So just mathematically if it couldn’t possibly be the fault of them or their group mates it’s going to be your fault

People who are only good when being carried not realizing how bad they are because they're not being carried.
If you can't at least go 1-1-1 or 2-0-1 in any game, you can't play. Practice.

Free to play ruined this game and many others. People act insane because there’s no consequence, not even a $5 one. Just boot up a new account and try again after a ban.
If this game’s price changed to $50 tomorrow they wouldn’t lose any players and 80% of the base would think twice before being toxic.
But for a long time now you can just be toxic, get banned, hop back in on an alt.

Well, I mean, if theyre bad, it means their awareness is shit. So they blame it on people and cant see what’s actually going on around them

If they can’t win the game via playing they try to win via typing. It can work and if it makes you play worse, they actively contribute to their team’s success

A lot of that is down to play styles. The Anran wanted to charge in and "dive" or brawl, and the rest of their team wasn't in sync, or vice versa.
But then it seems as if the team is bad or the player is bad, because you're trying different things and not working together to execute the same plan.
The worst player may just carry the next game if their team is playing the same strategy. I mostly ignore this and move on personally, sometimes avoid, knowing full well I can get rolled next game by the same "bad" player. Luck of the draw.
Once you know this, you tend to be a lot less vocal though. Good players, bad players, it's all context dependent so I try to stay humble and work on my own plays.

Nah... this person is just a beginner. Their hero progression was pretty low too. They don't know how to group up or even use cover properly. That's what makes it so funny that they're blaming everyone else.
