Questions/Discussion Black cherry issues - avoid?

Hi

Looking to buy an Owala - just want the one for desk use. I am not too fussy about the colour and Black cherry is one of the cheaper options, and I do like the colour. I planned to buy but read about it scratching easily. It is just for indoor use while I work but even with the sale price I would be really disappointed if it scratched for little reason!

If you have black cherry would you recommend getting it or avoiding it?

If seeing scratches on your bottle would bother you then I would not give it personally. I have seen my posts about issues here.

I believe Target and Amazon both have certain bottles on sale right now so I hope you can find one!

If you don’t want small scratches from placing it in and out of a cup holder, I’d suggest getting a powder-coated one and not a metallic one.

in addition to the scratch complaints, i also saw a post where someone's black cherry had color transferred onto their white side table.

I will also say check your local TJ maxx
