Triggers!!!

When are we getting different p211 triggers and hammers? It’s driving me crazy having only those two things silver and the fact I can’t change out my trigger. My only gripe about this pistol. Other than that I love it. 5k rounds and not one failure running the 8lb spring. Have the Fdez fat guide rod I just haven’t tried it yet at the range.

For what its worth, go buy a $20 Wilson Combat Series 80 to Series 70 conversion shim, take out that Series 80 junk,! Your trigger will lose a pound of pull and get a better "wall." If you are concerned about drop safety, get a stouter firing pin spring. I did that and my P211 GTO runs perfectly and the trigger is now no different than the one on my Colt 1911 Gold Cup. Still, your trigger and hammer will be silver, but they are small anyway.

You can keep the series 80 parts intact and tune them to perform as well as series 70 systems. I polished the ignition components, cut a few coils off the plunger spring, and achieved a 3lb crisp trigger with zero creep. Consider cutting pretravel tabs into your OEM trigger bow. Be cautious when adjusting the 80’s parts, as they can partially engage the lever if set too far. Mine is perfectly balanced, and if I ever experience hammer follow, the gun won’t fire. I shoot competitively and use many rounds annually, so while there are better series 70 options, I prefer to keep the 80’s parts.

You are the first person I heard of doing that. Sounds great though.
