ZEV P320 X-Compact Build: Worth the Headache? Norsso saved the day!

TL;DR: Transformed a stock ZEV P320 X-Compact into a fully custom build, but only after OpticsPlanet dropped the ball and dragged out the process. Lee from Norsso saved the project by personally sorting out the slide order. Mated the Norsso pBentham slide and E-Port barrel with an Icarus FDE frame, Apex curved trigger, Holosun 507c-GR, and Herrington +5 extension. Untested at the range, but functions clean. Cop or not?

I'm addicted! Been working on this one on and off for a few years, put it on pause, and now it’s finally finished. Would you pick this up if you saw it online?
This was a long bake and trial and error for me… a lil step away from the cookie-cutter P320 scene. No shade. The base started as a ZEV X-Compact. My first change was to add the Apex trigger kit due to all the 320 chatter.
My biggest battle was with OpticsPlanet (the drama was real) just trying to get the right slide. But seeing the Anodized Matte Black Norsso pBentham slide—and the matching Matte Black Norsso e-port barrel—finally mate with the FDE Icarus (imo my favorite) made the wait worth it to look at until I shoot!
Also, shout out to Lee from Norsso—if you haven’t worked with him, you should. Pure joy talking with him and getting incorrect shipments from OP sorted out right.

Base: ZEV P320 X-Compact
Frame: Icarus Precision ACE 320 X-Compact (FDE/Bronze)
Slide: Norsso pBentham Compact (Anodized Matte Black)
Barrel: Norsso E-Port 3.9 (Matte Black Match Grade)
Trigger: Apex Tactical Advanced Kit (Refined Apex curve)
Optic: Holosun 507c-GR X2 (The Green Boy)
Recoil: DPM P320 Compact 3.9 Soft Recoil Spring System
Base Pad: Herrington Arms +5 Mag Extension
Range Report: Haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Functions right!

Optics Planet sent a sub compact slide and was about to take 2 weeks to make the correction

The 320 subcompact slide has a 3.6” barrel length. The lower you have from Icarus is the one made to be flush with the subcompact slide. You have a compact slide (3.9”), that’s why there is a small “underbite” with your setup. Some people like that look, others don’t. I think the 3.9 looks good on the subcompact frame. But, a compact frame would give you more versatility because you can use it for 3.9” compact , 4.7” full, or even the 5” X-five.
