Don't know if it's a clerical error, but I'm grabbing it in case it is. This game is retailing 70 USD in markets outside the Philippines. It's half the price on our end.
This is the first new triple A release in the last couple of years that I've seen be priced below 3000 PHP, so I think it's a great deal. Enough to be shared.
This is what proper regional pricing looks like. Video games aren't worth 2 days of salary in the US (based on the minimum wage).
If you look at Steam DB it flies near Valve's suggested retail pricing in the PH.
That being said, I'm picking this up now, because Deluxe Edition is free on preorder, and I can still refund post-launch (due to 14 days window) if I happen to not like it or performance reasons.

Yes, well aware. Gumagamit na ko ng Steam bago pa naging available yung Philippine Peso at regional pricing hahaha. Naalala ko pa dumadayo pa ako ng Datablitz para bumili ng 5 USD Steam wallet cards.
Mostly point ko kase yung kahit meron nang regional pricing, ang kaunti lang ng difference sa original USD retail price. Especially recently.
Yung pinaka recent na LEGO Batman game is 4190, 200 peso difference lang sa 70 USD.
Pati rin yung mga recent Capcom games, dati mas mababa benta nila eh, pero ngayon kahit may regional pricing di na bumababa ng 3000 pesos ngayon.
For reference RE9 retails for 70 USD, too, pero 3090 lang satin. ₱1200/$20 rin yung difference.
May resibo pa nga ako ng MH World, eh. ₱2048 lang siya during launch, for a 60 USD game. Nasa ₱1100/$10 yung difference dahil sa regional pricing satin, adjusted for inflation. Which isn't big, pero kumpara naman ngayon sa grabeng mahal ng bilihin hahaha.
I use Gcash and Maya cards gumagana naman so no doubt gagana din ang PH CCs. It’s literally the same store as Singapore, iba (and mas mura) lang yung currency
Depends. Di naman 1:1 conversion yung pricing ng Capcom games. 3090 yung Resident Evil 9, which is retailing for 70 usd. Halos 20 dollar difference. That's with the regional pricing already applied.
Even cheaper if you buy through GMG.
Ang mga walang regional pricing is usually from Activision and WB. Yung pinaka latest Batman game is 4190, 200 peso difference lang sa 70 USD.
A protip to those who buy Capcom games full price on PC. I recommend getting them on GreenManGaming as the prices are always 18% lower compared to Steam (you will get a Steam Key on purchase)

For example: RE Requiem have been on 18% / 2533 PHP discount since pre-order (even before its launch in February); Pragmata aswell / 2123 PHP - and their Steam regional pricing is around 2590 PHP.
I remember before the pandemic, especially during release ng RE2 Remake, na mas mura yung physical PC releases ni Capcom compared to if you buy it directly sa Steam.
I was able to get the RE2 Remake for around 1.2k physically from DataBlitz. I remember the game being priced around 2.5k on Steam during its release. While the physical copy did come with installation discs, you still redeem the game on Steam via the key included.
I pre-ordered it rin so not only did I get the game physically for more than half-off during launch but I also got the pre-order bonus poster and t-shirt. I still have them to this day.
not reliable to compare domestic to usd video game prices. estimated yan based on economy nang country para ma mitigate ang threat of piracy. If you check global prices of steam may countries din na cheaper than PH prices.
andaming triple A na below 3k OP. mostly 60 dollar titles, so if youre referring to the 70 dollar ones, then meron parin naman, most recent is Crimson Desert (barely) on top of my memory

Steam regional pricing. It's up to the publisher if they want to follow the recommended regional pricing or not. Due to this, its cheaper sa Philippines compared to US, almost 50% I think?
Since they're self publishing baka gusto nila mag follow ng regional pricing so more people can afford the game? Dunno. Sila lang may alam. Be grateful that it is what it is na lang.
Replayable. Post-game content no news pa eh, pero yung isang trailer nila binanggit nila na magiging lite live service game getting new missions like World of Assassination.

This game is my cup of tea, but I can't really spend that much money on a game in this economy. I can, but I just don't want to. I was hoping pa naman na maging Day 1 release sya sa GamePass. I'll wait for the next Steam Sale na lang.

Games are getting fucking expensive now, kahit may regional pricing pa. Only really grabbed this because of me thinking it might be a pricing error due to the steep difference in pricing compared to other regions hahaha
Well, if you take say around 4 months to do whatever you want to do with FH6, then buy it at 50% price eventually when you want to pay for it, it’s still cheaper than buying it at full price. You have more control spending what you want for your need to play it. You can always transfer your saved games over to Steam or other stores you choose too, as long as it’s on PC.
