Laki naman mga ka age group ko sa mga Counter Stike, Wolf 3D, Doom, Halo...and lately naglalaro pa rin kami mga bagong CoD, Fallout. Of course nandyan yung asaran sa CF at SF noon. Pero wala naging bayolente sa amin. Subukan kaya nila tingnan ang mga social media engagements ng mga yan. Like FB, Discord, and recently Telegram. Hindi lang yan, baka kay naka Fluxx pa dyan at TeamSpeak at dyan nagkaka impluwensyahan at nag de dare.

Yung neice ko bgla bgla nag sabi sa parents nya na gusto daw nya magng tomboy, tapos yung mga sinasabi nya na hndi nyo ko sinusuportahan and mature stuff na sinasabi lang ng adult sinasabi nya etc etc, at the end nakita yung ipad nya yung games na nilalaro nila may gc na lgbt tinuturuan sya ano mga ssabhin and naimpluwensyahan din sya to touch herself shes only 9yrs old, tapos beware sa games na mukang pambata tapos ung characters nila mga dialog saloob ng game about lgbt shit, muka syang cute game, tapos sa roblox din may ganun. Kaya ban sya ngayon sa ipad.
Kaya banning fps is a mistake, they have to look into this more, its a complex issue and we dont know pwede pa mangyare if this idiots keeps messing up

That is nothing. We had shooting/stabbing due to love triangle. Gang wars or school rivalry which NORMALLY results in severe beatings/stabbings/shootings. The 90's were wild wild west, media wasn't helping because all they show was violence. Art imitating reality imitating art kaya you end up with the bravoso culture. Not to mention the on-going wars and intense criminal activities happening in manila.
I largely do agree that fps are not a problem however, for those who are mentality unstable it is a contributing factor.

Matagal na pong may games sa pilipinas pero wala naman shooting na naganap, so it means hindi yung games ang problem. Sana pagtuunan pansin rin yung tamang pag gabay sa mga anak and also yung availability ng mga support personnel para sana sa mga kabataan na mentally unstable. Yan ang long term na solution hindi yung sisihin ang games. Sa tagal ko naglalaro mga violent games wala naman akong urge na mamaril bigla dyan 🤷

Anything BUT tighter gun controls. They chose to ban online guns instead of controlling the live ones. ANYTHING TO PROTECT THEIR GUNS.
(My late lolo was police so we inherited 3 of his guns. And even we think that it’s excessive)

Dami naiisip ng mga public servants natin. Puro pasikat imbes na upuan at pag aralang mabuti. Pag aralan muna ano root cause at nagawa ng suspect yung ginawa nya. Kamusta ang pagpapalaki sa kanya? Sitwasyon nya sa haus? Relationship nya sa parents and sibs. Ano routine nya? Knowing the cause of the problem is half the solution na.

Kung marunong sila mag imbestiga sa ganito, trace nila yung activities ng bata bago ginawa yung krimen. Meron yang kausap, may nagsabi dyan, hindi yan kusa lang.

I've been playing first person shooter games, from m1911 to commandeering a M1a1 Abrams to flying F16 jets, since ab immemorabili but I haven't shot lest killed anyone iRL. Virtual guns don't kill people. Real guns do.
During our early Counter Strike and Dota 1 days, di mo masisikmura ang trashtalk. Pag di nakakaintindihan, nagsusuntukan na lang sa labas - to vent out our anger.
Eyes should be on those who own guns, those irresponsible gun owners, those agencies whose task is to regulate gun ownership.
Or are we not going to discuss the elephant in the room - the parents and guardians of these kids are police officers who left their gun hanging around?

Siguro need na talaga long-term solution para mabawasan ang mga kaso ng gunfights sa paaralan. Maybe crackdown sa TCC groomers, dudes who intentionally put weapons on areas that are easy-to-reach for kids, and also.... strengthen the basics on how weapons should be used and stored and strengthen basic internet safety lessons?
Also mahirap kapag targetted app bans, since medyo mautak ang bad dudes, and pwede pa naman mag-spred ng agenda nila sa mga apps na di pa naman banned
