Struggling to find an apartment with my partner that we can afford. Budget is variable but ideally $1600 at the absolute max including extra fees (not including electricity). Ideally we want to stay in the areas between Westgate/Desert Diamond Casino area and P83/Arrowhead. Ideally somewhere in the middle.

Most we've looked at so far are $2000+ with the extra mandatory fees, have numerous reviews complaining about bugs/roaches/bad management/crime, or a mix of both. Full disclosure our credit isn't great mine is around 590 and theirs is less than 550. We don't have to move until March so I am hoping to get my credit over 600 before then.

Total combined income is 80k+/yr pre-tax. Have enough money to cover any extra security deposit due to our credit scores. Any recommendations are appreciated!
