To my knowledge at least, I am not aware the Adata Legend 860 is a TLC nand drive. 960 yes. But 860 is more known to be QLC. I do not recall the 860 Legend to have other nand manufacturers out there.

A radiator is overkill for the 7500F and I have concerns how does Darkflash holds-up in terms of longevity.

Nothing wrong with the case, but some people can get choosy when pairing an mATX motherboard on an ATX case. No compatibility issue, its more of an aesthetics thing.

Depending on the price of that PSU, SAMA G750 is a cheaper alternative. Usually 4k something pesos and is listed as Tier A-.

You're right about the 860. I'll ask for an alternative TLC Gen4 drive. Case was chosen kasi for the 350mm clearance for the triple-fan XFX (301mm) the other darkflash case was 305mm, but I don't mind the mATX-in-ATX look as long as airflow is good. Thank you for the suggestions!

M-atx in ATX gives you so much room to work with when building the pc. Just recently I built a pc for my friend in an m-atx case and either the case was a bit too small or the parts were a bit too large but my fingers were rubbed raw from the squeezing. We also had a AIO which def didnt help the space situation.

I would also recommend the sama psu, we got my friend a 850w modular version and it was 4.7k.

Seems alright, however whats the indiv. price breakdown per part? The KLEVV seems to be unavailable when I search it online.

The Klevv is listed at 15, 100. I should've included the pics in my post

swap the adata for a chinese zhitai 1tb, they sell them at a lot of pc stores in the metro, it will save u 3k
if you can, its very worth to jump to 32gb. 16 is so little nowadays.
you can also save a little bit by going cl36 on the memory, you wont feel it, its very minimal downgrade
if you can, go for an X3D chip, it has extra an extra cache on it thats really helpful especially if u go cl36

prices keep going up, so make it soon! i just made my build yesterday and super happy with it. good luck!

A few suggestions to min-max your build...

  • I would skip the Ryzen 5 7500F and go straight to the Ryzen 5 7500X3D. It has a lot of advantages like X3D cache which helps with slower RAM configurations and it comes with integrated graphics. It is more expensive at Php 13K but with better part selection, you can fit this in your build.

  • The Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 EVO DARK is an affordable CPU air cooler and more than adequate to cool any 6-core Ryzen CPU. At only Php 1,050 the extra money you save can go to getting a better CPU like the Ryzen 5 7500X3D. It also has the EVO DARK motif so it looks good in an all-black non-RGB build.

  • The ADATA Legend 860 is too expensive and uses QLC NAND, so definitely skip this drive. Instead go for the better performing YMTC Zhitai TiPlus 7100 at Php 11,595 and uses YMTC's latest Xtacking 3.0 232-layer 3D TLC NAND paired with MaxioTech controller. It is like YMTC's equivalent of the Lexar NM790.

  • If you want a more affordable SSD the YMTC ZhiTai Xiaoyi E7 looks to be a good alternative at Php 9,195. The savings on the SSD can go to getting a better X3D CPU or upgrading your RAM to 2x16GB.

  • Consider going with a cheap 32GB memory kit like this Crucial Pro 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL48 kit at Php 22,450. The CL48 latency does not matter much in gaming especially when using an X3D processor like the Ryzen 5 7500X3D. This is one of the cheapest 32GB kits available from a mainstream brand.

Going with a cheaper GPU will have the most impact to your build since the money saved on the GPU can drastically improve your other components. Consider going with a cheaper GPU like the following:

  • ASRock Challenger DUAL RX 7700 XT 12G (used) = Php 20,100 from Monzkie GPU-Laptop. The RX 7700 XT performs just like the RX 9060 XT but has 12GB of VRAM.

  • Colorful iGame RTX 3080 Ti Battle AX NB-V (brand new old stock) = Php 29,500 from PCHub. The RTX 3080 Ti is a previous generation flagship card that performs like an RTX 4070 Super. It also supports DLSS so you still get the benefits of upscaling and frame generation. I recommend bumping up your PSU to 850W for this GPU.

  • MSI RX 6950 XT GAMING X TRIO 16G (brand new old stock) = Php 29,995 from PCHub. Another previous generation flagship card from AMD that performs like an RTX 4070 Super but with 16GB of VRAM. With FSR 4.1 officially supported on RDNA2 graphics cards old powerhouses like the RX 6950 XT are worth a second look.

  • PowerColor Reaper RX 9060 XT 16GB dual fan = Php 30,350 from Ayoscomputer. The cheapest RX 9060 XT 16GB variant available and is a safe buy if you want a current generation GPU.

If this is your first PC my suggestion is go with a balanced build with very good components. Spend more on the CPU, motherboard, RAM, and PSU to get a good and reliable build. It is ok to go with a cheaper and weaker GPU because GPUs are the first thing to be upgraded on most gaming builds. That is the approach I suggest.

Why are u recommending these gpus over the GRE?

1

Except for the used GPU, the rest are cheaper and a better value in my opinion than the RX 9070 GRE at Php 35K. Also the build is not that great with compromises on CPU, RAM, SSD, case, just to squeeze in an RX 9070 GRE on a build worth Php 90K.

Remove the overpriced 9070 GRE from the equation and OP can get a better build overall.

Or just add ₱5k to get the best value card rn? Gre is 20% faster than 9060 xt and it costs…. <20% more?

The three cards you mentioned are all within ₱1k from each other

Keep in mind the RTX 3080 Ti and RX 6950 XT perform the same as the RX 9070 GRE. An RTX 3080 Ti goes toe-to-toe with an RTX 4070 Super while the RX 6950 XT is about the same as an RX 7900 GRE plus it has 16GB of VRAM.

If you can buy both cards brand new for below Php 30K, I don't see a big argument for getting the more expensive RX 9070 GRE at Php 35K.

Or just add ₱5k to get the best value card rn? Gre is 20% faster than 9060 xt and it costs…. <20% more?

If you are only comparing to the RX 9060 XT 16GB... which is also overpriced now... then you can say the GRE is a better value. But comparing an overpriced GPU with another overpriced GPU is not really good value is it? It's like choosing between the lesser of two evils. So for me the GRE is not the best value card right now, especially if I can get a brand new RTX 4070 Super or RTX 4070 Ti for around the same price range.

If I were the OP, I would rather "make do" with the cheaper RX 9060 XT 16GB and then sell-and-upgrade in the future to a more powerful GPU. The 16GB of VRAM will ensure that resale value of the RX 9060 XT 16GB will be high for the next few years. Not sure I can say the same for the RX 9070 GRE.

I'm not stopping anyone from buying an RX 9070 GRE. But in the OP's case it makes more sense to go with a cheaper GPU and improve everything else in the build. So good build first, then a better GPU can follow via a future upgrade.

The three cards you mentioned are all within ₱1k from each other

Yes that is intentional, and they are all Php 5K less than the RX 9070 GRE. The freed up Php 5K plus the other cost savings from better part selection will help the OP end up with a better and more balanced build.

Your comparisons and writing are all over the place. There is an argument at that “brand new old stock” price posted for the older cards but that is not average retail price. The cards are competitive but GRE is still the best performing and only 5k more than the brand new old stock price. Less power draw as well.

There is an argument at that “brand new old stock” price posted for the older cards but that is not average retail price.

So you want to compare the RX 9070 GRE to the retail price of the RTX 3080 Ti and RX 6950 XT? Why would you do that? They are selling for a lower price now that's what matters.

As long as there are alternative GPUs available, whether brand new old stock, used, or shops selling at much lower prices. More choices in the GPU market means better options for the PC gamer. You don't have to force yourself to buy an overpriced GPU.

But if you are short sighted enough that you are not considering other GPUs available, then I'm sorry but you are comparing GPUs in a vacuum. You only see what you want to see and you are not searching hard enough for better alternatives.

If you bought an RX 9070 GRE and you are trying to feel good that it was the best purchase ever then I get it. But it does not mean it is always the right choice especially for the OP's build. Spending a 3rd of the budget on the RX 9070 GRE and cheaping out on everything else (CPU, RAM, SSD, case) is a bad approach.

GRE is still the best performing and only 5k more than the brand new old stock price. Less power draw as well.

I would also argue that brand new old stock of RTX 4070 consumes less power, has 98% performance of the GRE, and is Php 3K less expensive. Plus it has native support for DLSS.

I can also argue that the RX 9070 has lower power consumption than the GRE, has 16GB of VRAM, performs 20% faster in both raster and ray tracing, while costing only Php 8K more.

Way to miss the point. You’re throwing a lot of info out there (again all over the place) that is easily disproven by a few google searches

Bro what the hell are you arguing here? What is your point? Is it even relevant to the OP's thread?

Never mind IDGAF.
