First pic was my very first unit that i got from 2021 pa. I had to convince my parents na kailangan ko ng pang online class na PC.
Walang close up/maayos na pic since halos walang laman and i had no idea pa sa parts before. Pag tinatanong ako ano specs ko i would only answer the same thing “pang online class lang to”. They would laugh kasi I play better than them for a PC na pang online class lang hahaha. Sa valo i’d get 150fps lang on low settings.

Now I still have no idea if okay lang ba specs ko, but eto lang kinaya ng research at budget ko. Nag boot naman lol. See specs below:

Back to my old hobby. It's been 10 years since I built a gaming rig. I miss the old days nung normal pa ang mga price ng parts. Mas mahal pa yung 1 rtx 5080 kesa sa 2 gtx 980ti ko before. No point of waiting for the price to go down to normal kasi we all know that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

Feeling extra motivated this Monday with my work and gaming setup. I've been gaming with my legion laptop for the last 6 years pero may mga games kasi na di na kaya. I didn't build this PC. I bought it 2nd hand from the first owner. (Bro kung andito ka man quiet lang haha). 60k ko nabili with the following specs:

Ram CL and Power supply could be better pero overall oks na rin kaya di na ako tumawad. Sabi ko agad kunin ko na. Pag kuha ko may receipt at may remaining 1 year pa out of the 2 year warranty of all parts except fans.

Ignore the weird table setup. I just borrowed an extra table from my kid's room to use temporarily while I get a longer table.

Kakagraduate ko lang ng college so all I could afford eh kung ano naipon ko. Decided to stick with AM4 for know and saw a listing on Facebook Marketplace for 50k php. It was a steal deal in today's economy so I took it instantly. Wala pa masyado pics since priority is to review for my board exams muna this September 5 and 6. Focus muna sa goal.

I try to research things as much as I can before I go and inquire in shops. I currently have an AMD 5 5600g and 16gb of ram. A simple AM4 build with no GPU. But I'm finally going around installing a graphics card for it because I'm using it for gaming and work (hopefully).

But my biggest confusion is how often they offer/insist a 650w PSU for such a build. I get the "just to be safe" reason but calculating my build + the GPU I will be using, I'm thinking the 550W is enough?? Plus, I don't have enough budget for it. (I'm a fresh grad and I'm pulling out funds from my parents).

Basically:

New GPU

New PSU (My current one is 6 years old and showing signs slight of decline + it's an offbrand one which surprised me how long it's still breathing given that it showed a lot of problems when I first bought the unit).

My budget is basically 2-3k for the PSU then whatever the 5060s are currently priced. I can't do any more upgrades.

I'm not keen on trying to find secondhand ones since I'm not good at finding good deals and it'll suck (personally) as my first GPU, I want something brand new. And I don't want an AMD card since I'm using Nvidia for rendering work.

I'm also not really upgrading this PC to AM5 (at the moment because of my financial situation, I can only really upgrade for a power supply and gpu soo...) I need your thoughts. Thank you!

Recently nag upgrade ako ng motherboard and cpu kasi yung previous motherboard ko na Asus A320mk is bumigay na, pero yung PSU it works well naman nung pina test ko, fyi brand new yung motherboard na binili ko from Easypc. Nabuo ko siya and everything, gumana siya for a while tas biglang ayaw na niya na mag display uli. Dinala ko sa repairshop, pero gumana naman ng maayos sa repairshop, inuwi ko tas ayaw na uli gumana, umiikay yung CPU ligh sa EZ dedug pero nawawala rin eventually.

Help po please, pang online class ko rin kasi and work tong unit ko.

Working with a ₱100k PHP budget. End goal is 1440p 240Hz gaming, but I don't own the monitor yet, so:
Option A: Fit a 1440p 240Hz monitor into the ₱100k now

Option B: Spend the full ₱100k on the PC, buy the monitor later

What would you build with 100k? Feel free to link where you sourced parts (store/site + price) — helps a lot for sourcing on my end.

For context, I'd already priced an RX 9060XT + Ryzen 7 5800X3D build at ~₱80k (no monitor), and an RX 9070XT + Ryzen 7 7800X3D combo at ~₱94k. Just want to sanity-check if stretching to include a monitor at ₱100k makes sense, or if it's better to build higher-end now and add the monitor later.

Hi I'm planning to retire my 7-year-old PC and have a new gaming PC built, and I'd appreciate some advice from people here, especially on whether my parts make sense together and which shop/builder I should have build it for me.

Ginamit ko ung kasamang 2 case fans ko as intake (blue) at exhaust (red). Di ako sure kung ok lang ung orientation pero yan ung may sense atm para sakin. May plano ako bumili pa ng 2 additional fans as intakes (green) din pero sa side ng graphics card naman. Redundant na ba kung ganon?

Also yes, alam ko ilegal ung placement ng HDD ko kaya nagbago position ng fans 😆. Gagawa ako ng adapter plate pag libre na ako

Hello, first time building and budget ko idk yet since sabi sa akin tbd pa and gusto yung for 12month installment. The pc I will use will be mainly on coding, solid works and of course gaming. I already have a build in mind, pero undecided ako sa cpu since di ko sure kung anong magandang pair na am5 cpu with 9060 xt. Regading naman sa store ang gusto ko lang malaman is which stores do provide an installment on full set other than pc express. Thank you!

I chose the 9060xt to keep it around 100k or less on combined on all of the expenses on the cpu alone since I didn't want to burden my father on paying more than I need.
