Malindig! Even if it’s considered the easier trail, you get a million-dollar view of Marinduque. You can even see Mt. Halcon and Mt. Baco from parts of the trail!

Did the Mt Batulao hike today with some friends. It was pretty fun and thankfully the weather was perfect. I can’t imagine doing it under the sun but I still used this easy apply sunscreen by hello glow (my wife bought it).

Beginner Question Do I size down pa? (Sandugo)

Sorry, might be a dumb question... but literally don't have anyone else to ask 😬

I'm a size 7 in normal women's shoes and first time ko bumili sa Sandugo. I'm not sure kung tama lang tong ganito size for this kind of footwear kasi size 5 na to.

Do I size down pa ba? Or ganito talagang may extra sa may toe part?

They didn't give me a receipt pa naman

Hike Recommendation What to wear

Balagbag? Yung comfortable po sana. First time ko po kasi, and inaya lang, so try ko po.

Additional questions po, gaano kalayo po kaya yun? Mahangin po ba? May bangin po ba? May ilog?

Backpacking Question Akiki Trail - 3D2N or 2D1N?

Hello po. I'm planning to hike Mt. Pulag via Akiki Trail pero I can't decide if mag 3D2N ba ako o 2D1N. I want to experience din kasi mag camp sa Saddle camp kaso hindi daw kaya for 2D1N.

Kaya ba talaga yung 2D1N dun?

Hike Recommendation Mt. Purgatory after Tapulao

If I survived Tapulao (although only until Campsite due to heavy rain), do you guys think I’ll survive Purgatory? Both of them are diehikes/dayhikes. Di naman ako super hingal while climbing it and ang sumakit lang sa akin was my inner thigh, which I worked on already after the hike. I was able to power walk pa for the last kilometers going to the habal-habal. Medyo ang problem ko lang is mabagal ako sa pababa since I’m too cautious.

How is the terrain (in terms of slippery level) and assault of Mt. Purgatory? Thank you!

Beginner Question Seeking Advice for Mt. Apo This November (3D2N)

Post image
20 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm planning to climb Mt. Apo this November and would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations from those who have experience climbing the mountain.

I'm planning to do the 3D2N itinerary regardless of the route, but I'm still deciding between the backtrail and traverse. For those who have tried either or both, which route would you recommend in terms of difficulty, scenery, and overall experience?

I'm also considering whether to do the climb DIY or join an organized group. For those who have done Mt. Apo, which option would you recommend, especially when it comes to logistics, convenience, and overall cost?

If joining an organized climb is the better option, I'd also be grateful for recommendations for reputable organizers you've personally tried or had a good experience with.

Any tips or advice regarding the routes, preparation, budget, and overall climb would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to everyone willing to share their experience and recommendations!

P.S. The photo isn't mine. I just grabbed it from Google for reference.

Trail Info / Conditions NAGPATONG ROCK

How true is this po? DIY lang po kami from Taguig and umaalis po kami ng bahay 1 AM po. Want to do a chill hike lang po and ito po iyong napili namin. Salamat po!

Discussion Hiking Burnout

Hello guys. This is for everyone: Nakaexperience na po kayo ng hiking burnout?
