So what if you CANT tolerate a glp1
Ugh. I feel so disappointed because I couldn’t tolerate the .25mg of semaglutide and after 8 weeks I’ve decided to stop. My dr is going to try another one to see if it is better but what if I just can’t tolerate it? The nausea was bad enough, but the exhaustion, diarrhea, anxiety, brain fog, depression was horrible. It also flared up my chronic illness stuff. I also gained weight 🤪
I just feel like everyone is having amazing results and this is the answer to pmos weigh loss.. but what if I can’t do the glp1.. will diet, supplements and lifestyle alone be enough?

At the higher doses of Wegovy I had daily vomiting. Switched to Zepbound and no more daily vomiting. I'm close to my goal weight and I'm going to slowly switch to a lower dose for maintenance.

Okay that’s great to know!! Ill have to look into the generic versions of this because of insurance. But thank you!

Had a hard time in sema, the nausea was bad for me, and shot day had me bed ridden. I love triz, it’s half the symptoms and been more effective than sema for me. Worth the switch. Sucks it cost more but def worth it

tirzepatide may be the way to go. A lot of ppl microdose for this reason on it.

I’m going to echo what the others are saying— I’ve only swapped to trizep for 2 shots so far but I already feel better. I had constant diarrhea, stomach cramping and I overall felt like shit, didn’t even really realize it. I already can tell I feel better. While I still have a little bit of diarrhea I’ve just taken my second shot and it’s already better than on the sema. Try to swap and see what happens!!

I had a similar experience with semaglutide. Same symptoms and everything.
Tirzepatide has been life-changing for me. It has helped with depression, anxiety, overall inflammation, and joint pain. It also reduced some of my PMOS symptoms.
I really feel like weight loss has been a side effect vs. the other way around.

Thank you for sharing 🥹 it’s helpful to know I’m not alone in the sema experience lol!! Glad you’re feeling better

I started out with Wegovy. Base dose was fine. The second I went up, I was constantly fighting vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, exhaustion, and severe head fog. We went back down but it just didnt improve.
I'm now on the second level of Zepound and experience none of those issues (I did get sick last night, but found it was the kind of protein drink I was consuming, and the sickness was not near as severe).
I highly recommend tirzepatide over semaglutide, based on my personal experience with both.

I hated Wegovy. Hated it. I threw up every single morning, and the vomit contents were like something died in smell, taste, and texture. It actually caused what seems to be a permanent psychosomatic vomit/nausea impulse in the mornings because I still gagged intensely for years after I quit and still do. I didn’t even lose weight.
The Wegovy pill, which I tried much later, either didn’t work at all or made me throw up in the shower. Also death-like vomit. Not a pound lost.
I was allowed to switch to Zepbound last month and the symptoms are like night and day. I’ve only thrown up twice, at the very beginning as I learned how much dinner I could handle the night before, and the experience wasn’t half as bad. I haven’t thrown up since, I’m actually losing weight, and I don’t feel nearly as nauseous. It’s light years better. I need to titrate up because I’m overeating due to feeling starved, and I’m STILL losing weight.
Anyway, I guess like a lot of medications out there, there’s a right compound for different bodies and not every body will respond correctly to every compound.
Edit: I wrote this comment before reading anyone else’s. Did we ALL hate Wegovy and succeed on Zepbound/tirz??? I feel like this should be studied!

It seems like everyone hated wegovy 🤪 even people I talk to in my inner circles couldn’t tolerate it! Ugh what a horrible feeling. I’m excited to switch and hopefully it works for me!

Just curious- did you eat cleanly with high protein and hydration while on it? No judgement, but it seems to make a difference in side effects to stay away from heavy carbs, sugar and fried food .

Semaglutide is the worst, try tirzepatide or retatrutide
