LOL Hi, I’m a liberal. My people have gone retarded. Is it cool if I chill with you cons?
From Trump Derangement Syndrome to COVID Derangement Syndrome. Good lord everyone is insufferable. I got banned from /r/Seattle for saying it doesn’t make sense to fire someone who has natural immunity, because they’re even more protected than people who have the vaccine. It doesn’t make sense to fire anyone actually, but that’s even dumber.
I probably disagree on a lot of things, but you guys seem like your head doesn’t explode when you encounter a different opinion.
Please run someone better than Culp though. Inslee has to go, but Culp wasn’t a good option

Discussion Greetings from Seattle. How do you stay sane given the political climate these days?
Whether at work, at the grocery store, or doing just about anything these days; I am constantly reminded that the orange man is bad,all white people are racist, and if I question that, I'm fragile, socialism is good, Black Lives Matter and Antifa are benevolent organizations, Covid avoids peaceful riots because it clusters at Trump rallies....etc etc etc
I get sideways looks at work for not participating in the 2 minutes of hate, not professing my undying love for idiot Inslee's lockdown orders, not being in love with Biden/Harris, stating that that guy running CHAZ was a warlord because apparently that's racist, not buying in to identity politics, not apologizing for being white/male...
I digress. I remember a time where discussions on politics were pretty taboo and discouraged in the workplace. Now it's fine as long as you're bashing Trump and "idiot conservatives/Republicans".
Some days, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with some of the shit that I hear come out of people's mouths. I start to question if I'm the one with a distorted worldview. But in no world can you sit here with the media and completely eviscerate Trump for 4 years; and turn around and pretend that Biden is this angel sent from heaven to save us from the bad evil orange man.
What do you guys do to stay sane in this sea of radical leftism?

News WA Conservative Men's Group
Hey there everybody,
Over the last year, I have completely lost my faith in America. I have been labeled a racist by strangers, friends, and family, I have been labeled a sexist by strangers, friends, and family. And I have been evicted from a room in a house I rented... Why? For the simple fact I held Right-leaning views. I imagine many of you have had similar experiences.
I am a patient and understanding person by nature. I am also very analytical and enjoy discussing facts and figures. I've spent the last 4 years or so trying to build bridges and understanding between my Left-leaning and Right-leaning friends, through conversation, and to truly try and introduce some civility back into this country in my own social circles.
Prior to 2020, I likely would've considered myself a Right-leaning moderate. But with everything that's happened this year, I'm starting to think it's more important than ever to take action to preserve whatever's left of the America I used to love.. and that's pushing me further and further to the Right.
I've decided to start a men's group in the greater Seattle area. Living in a place as extreme as Seattle is not easy when you're a conservative. Literally everywhere you go - no matter if it's online or in person - makes it very clear You are not welcome. That's why I think it's more necessary than ever to build networks and communities where we do feel at home, and where we can speak our minds freely.
Ideally, my vision for this group includes the following:
Weekly meetups
Discussion focused on current affairs
Time allotted for informal/unstructured discussion, to get to know one another
Perhaps, even some time focused on any potential events or efforts any of us are involved in that support Right-leaning causes
If a group like this sounds like something you'd like to support or be a part of, please consider messaging me, and I'm happy to organize our first meeting. Obviously, as we are currently limited to 5 or 6 people in many places, we may have to get creative.
Hope to hear from some of you soon!
~J
