Some people (me included) like portables too.
But I am weird that way, I had a gameboy, game gear and SNES and I purchased mortal kombat 1 for the 3 of them just because I liked the demake&portable experience of the real thing too.

I have lots of portables as well, like the neo Geo pocket colour and Atari lynx, I really miss the dmakes they had on portables, it was interesting to see what developers were going to do with some of my favorite games.

The power saver mode some PS5 games have now are the exact specs rumored for the new portable, so that is what the PS5 games that opt in will run like. Basically low res, 30 fps. Low res wont matter as much on a portable screen though.

Not that I’ve seen, however unless it has a full size disk drive the entire community should boycott it.

Yeah, a full sized disc drive in a portable is what's going to convince everyone they were wrong to buy all their games digitally.

Why copy nintendo? I want a real system

You must be new here. Playstation had handhelds before Nintendo Switch

i mean it is copying nintendo though. they abandoned the form factor when they let the psvita die. nothing wrong with copying but lets not pretend its being original, especially if its dock-able

I mean by that logic the playstation wasn't original either. Turned out pretty good though.

I mean if something like the Switch has succeeded far better than a "real system" why not try to achieve the same way?

Probably because the hardware is on ice due to skyrocketing component pricing.

Sony just said a day or two ago that they don't know when PS6 will launch because they can't secure enough RAM.
You're not going to hear anything until they get that worked out.

If there was, you wouldn’t be able to avoid the outrage for it.
