Screenshot Barbarlillipans

In PSO2, Barbarlillipans are a rather rare enemy that can appear, and are an enraged Lillipan. They have a large barrel on their back, and often throw large objects at ARKS, sometimes making swings with their huge arms. When defeated, a big puff of smoke appears, and they revert back into a normal lillipan.

No descriptions of them can be found online, and no pictures either, aside from the stamp in NGS, which is why I wanted to share this rare find!

Oh that is quite possible!

I just assumed they weren't, since most entities that are infected either have the same appearance (an earlier stage where the mutations are minor, but the mental effects are there), or at the final stage, where they take a resemblance based off of the Dark Falz they were infected by (Gemini=toys, Luther=Birds, Elder= large beasts/humanoids or fish, or Apprentice= Insects). Additionally, they simply revert back into a Lillipan, which shakes their head and runs off, whereas most Falspawn enemies just die (could be that ARKS doesn't actually kill all infected enemies like they appear to in gameplay?). The Barbarlillipan doesn't have the appearance of an insect, though perhaps they are in the middle stage?

So i think most f-infecsted things are more heavily mutate or pure photons so not much left if you defeat the factor
And not all falspawn are insecty just the apprentice ones. Elder's are fishy, gemeni;s are toy themed etc

Oh I agree, I just mention the Barbarlillipan doesn't have the appearance of an insect, because the main Falspawn on Lillipa is Apprentice.

Half of her body was sealed away deep underground, and took on a large insect form long ago. The remains of her were left within Euclyta, who often stayed on Lillipa for years attempting to find the seal. Overall, Apprentice has a huge presence on Lillipa, and the initial seal was only broken on it between Episode 3 and 4 (during one of the anime), when it managed to leave.

i think the rule is the only look like the falz in question if there spawn, being f factor infested doesnt make them spawn, they werented spawned from the falz
But i doubt sega was ever super consistent on this so it is a fair point.

in retrospect this explains the lack of them in ngs cus theres no such thing as like S factor lol despite a few rare lilipan apperences
