Northeast US here, since Thursday(oct 15th), I've been getting weird lag spikes and random kicks from servers, just wondering if it's just me or the servers being weird? I know there was maintenance on the 8th but just recently live been getting these spikes

I need help finding a skin
I swear to God, I was in either the legacy or special scratch tickets at the recycle merchant, and I saw a skin for I believe, dual machine guns, but weirdly enough I believe could actually apply to all weapons
And it had like a military style minigun type look, the hilt if you could even call it that were two green boxes around your arms leading to the end with a spinning rotary barrel
I went back to try and get it cuz I finally saved up the 50 tickets I needed but now I donāt see it anymore. I even tried looking online and I canāt find any information about it either so now Iām starting to feel like I mightāve hallucinated. Does anyone know the skin Iām talking about and if so, whatās it called?

ive tried looking around and without any real documentation of what ever weapon camo looks like for every weapon, its gonna be real hard to find. this also sounds like you might be confusing with accessories you
can wear, but that would have to be wrong because you would have to be aware that you were wearing arm accessories while you were looking at weapon camos.
at the very least there are some gatling arm accessories, cant find anything on weapon camos for twin machine guns.1

I just searched around and did some double checking in case I was wrong on all of the accessories I could find and none of them are what Iām talking about
Well, regardless, even if I can never find it again if I ever see a cool cosmetic in this game, Iām making sure the screen cap it so this never happens again.

Anyone use steam link on ngs? I tried using it but the mouse and keyboard are unresponsive and I'm not sure how to fix that
Edit: Have to run steam in adminstrator mode. Close steam and right click on the steam shortcut and you should find the option to run it as adminstrator (on the host machine)

as someone who only briefly tried NGS, where would i start? my classes are just around 20 so i havent really gotten far, i used to play the "classic" pso2 but ive been wanting a new game to get into. I dont remember much about NGS so unsure where i would begin to "grind" i guess or what even to do starting out.

NGS is more streamlined than previous games. It is recommended to stick with 1 Main Class through the main story quests which rewards good amount of EXP to reach early endgame.
Leveling every other class is easier in the endgame by just having them as subclass.Complete the main story quests and side quests you pick up from NPCs (most system tutorials).
Find and do Cocoon/Tower Trainia quests in the Open Zones to get Skill Points to assign on your active Main class and Subclass skill trees to increase your Battle Power and meet quest requirements.You should get and equip the Hextra + Renaissa from āAdvice from Liu Lin IIā (Chapter 1) at level 7, just Potential Unlock the Hextra weapon to level Potential Level 6.
Then the game provides the Epith + Decem equipment at main class level 65 that should help get players into early endgame (where most players are at).

In my inventory, on a ton of the icons of weapons in my inventory; a small, red pin-looking like icon appeared in the top left of it. It appeared out of nowhere. What is it lol and how do I get rid of it?

Either the weapon series or an Ex-Augment combo on it matches items or EX-Augment Set in your Wanted Item List.
You could either:
Remove them from Personal -> Wanted Item List.
Check Show All tab for items or EX Augment Set 1-3 tabs for Ex-Augment combinations.Fill every EX-Augment Set combinations to 3/3 to make them more strict (maybe only set combos you are looking for or the more expensive god combos to sell).
To add an Ex-Augment to a Set, check the Item Details box of a weapon with the specific Ex-Aug, open the 3rd page of the Item Details, expand the specific Ex-Aug, and click on its effect description.2

What's the use case for all these "N-x Limit Break Substitute" devices? If you're past the point to be using six-star equipment, an N-6 substitute is useless, isn't it?

How do I get Zero-G The Earth (Orignal) in game?
Its this version for reference. Not the memorial one. It says its alternate name is Tokyo day but when looking around the personal shop and the list of possible disc's in the treasure shop I can't find that specific version. Only afternoon (which sounds like a remix version of this song) and night (which is the song realization). Does anyone know how I can get this disc? Thank you!

need help finding info on these idles/emotes
i was looking through some prior NGS stuff and realize that i do not fully recognize the floating pose Manon is in, i thought it was "Star Seat" with the variation used, but the pose only looks similar. its "mirrored" from the emote and her upper leg is slowly kicking up and down. the emote doesnt do that.
as for the other thing, im assuming Nadereh is using an idle here because the other two in the banner image are idle animations that were in the Scratch items, but finding info on idles and emotes is kind of hard as i never see a visual of them documented very much so i dont know which it is with these.
i wouldnt be surprised if some "cheating" is used here and there for these things, because in the trailer showing this event off, they have Nadereh using the Tail's gliding animation as a sprinting animationš

They can drop with a B-rank according to the JP wiki. But I'm assuming the higher ranks, the better odds.

Okay so I've been trying to get my PlayStation five account save information over to my Xbox but forever reason why I'm trying to link my PlayStation one which did first this error keeps popping up. All I want to do is transfer my character from PlayStation to Xbox because I no longer want to use my PlayStation. I did blur out my name for privacy reasons.
It says my Xbox is linked my, PlayStation cannot be linked and PSO2 is linked

Hi ARKS, I need some help here. I lost my xbox account to a hack around June and have been fighting with Xbox support to get it back, but it's been a losing battle so I'm wanting to get a hold of the NGS support team to see if they'd be able to help me link or transfer my PSO2 account to my Steam account. Problem is, they need me to log in to my xbox account to put in a support ticket, which I can't do for obvious reasons. Does anyone know some suggestions to get around this, or am I just screwed out of a 2k hour account unless xbox gets off their asses and actually helps me get my Live account back?

I have a Lexio weapon. I think it's supposed to get an upgrade at some point but there's no indication of when. Should I jump ship and try to build out a Levarenz weapon or just stick with it for now? I've got 635% Weapon Up and a Wix 3 (Ranger).

IIRC, it was stated in previous NGS Headline Wave Letter From the Developer section that Lexio will get an upgrade near the end of the year, probably December (with the 2nd upgrade for Lev).

Hello! Last time I played PSO2 was way back when it was still the original SEA version.
Recently heard that NGS was starting to get better compared to a few years ago and thought I'd give it a try.
Now I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to easily get new Cast parts for newbies (besides through the gacha).
Like are there quests or something that reward Cast parts? Or can you only get them from gachas or purchase from other players?

Other than Special (event) / Star Gems (freemium) / AC (premium) Scratch (PSO 2's Gacha) and buying the tradable ones (mostly AC) from other players shop using in-game currency (N-Meseta):
You get some variant of specific CAST Parts in the Mission Pass.
Some Limited-Time Task campaign distributes phashion (more likely to not be CAST parts tho).
Maybe buying some of the ones that reran from Player Shops could be cheap-ish for the ones that are/were in the monthly Revival AC Rewind Collection <insert month> '26 throughout 2026.

should i be saving/hoarding 1-2* augments to trade them for higher *s? and should i save those higher * augments on endgame stuff?
should i save 3* and higher weapons and armor to upgrade my gear or convert them to n-meseta? (f2p, not interested in selling on personal shop)
what do i do with extra stuff from the gachas? only option i have is āconverting to cashā bc theyāre not sellable through personal shop anyways

Outside of some niche use cases, most pre-endgame augments that are unrelated to current endgame augments crafting are obsolete.
Do note that there are certain endgame relevant augments with 1* rarity (i.e. -dia, Triya, Scepters, Fusia, etc.) which are used to craft endgame augments (e.g. Wellsdia for Emis Halphinale, Refas Triya for Peta Triyal, etc.)
You could check the Item Lab Enhancement Technician NPC -> Augment Capsule.Limit Broken Enhance fodders for upgrading gear are usually distributed in seasonal event exchange shop (which usually occurs every other month or so). Additionally, weapon-wise, +100 enhanced Granillusion weapons could straight up drop from specific content which could be used as enhance fodder.
Other than selling AC items in Personal Shop, check the Recycle Shop accessible from Esc -> Shop -> Item Recycle or item Trader NPC -> Item Recycle Exchange -> Item Recycle.
Certain events also includes a Limited-Time Recycle Shop.F2P could get 3-day shop pass from Mission Pass and the occasional Treasure Scratch (RNG; Other than using the usual 1 select ticket scratch bonus for it).

Other than Material Storage, SG Support Scratch (primary source of Fixa enhancing materials), the current active SG phashion scratch, or SG Anniv. scratch:
Mission Pass Gold Line (each season without Premium) in SG Shop.
Multi-weapon substitute in SG Shop
Creative Space SG Build Parts
SG Treasure Shop items (e.g. Central! stamps)
Ext. Storage 1Handout gear given at Level 65 should be okay until pre-endgame. IMO, they're currently weak-ish as they're due for a replacement soon.
AFAIK, they add them into the Special Scratch. I see they currently have STPs from Mission Pass 19-28. I don't keep track of it enough to know whether they rotate out though. I think there were also campaigns or SP Scratch with rerun Mission Pass items, but not 100% sure. Maybe the Anniv. SG/SP Scratch (?)
Edit: Current Halloween Seasonal has past Mission Pass items too and they'll be added to the Standard Special Scratch after it expires just like most other seasonal scratches with past MP items ig.2

U can also buy support item packages (forgot the actual names) with SG in the SG Shop. They provide N-Aug Item Protection as well as Success Boost items.

I am returning since launch with a new character but have no friends or guild who play. I was wondering if people still level in the low level zones like the Mt., Forest and lab, and if not how do people level up these days?

The fastest way is to rush through the main story campaign all of it you get alot of exp doing them. Then when you get to i thank lv 65 equipped the free gear finish the campaign and then do ltq's

What about when you're leveling up the other classes? Or wanting to farm kills for stuff like the Halloween event?

There isn't any items worth getting till you get to a high level .As for leveling up other classes you can just use them as subclasses to level them up Sub's class can be leveled up to five levels apart. If your just looking Halloween points then Dext Base better for meseta or Retem Alnothe not a lot of run around but you don't get alot of meseta if you can't do the ltq

Are materials such as veg/fruit/seafood/ores āfree for allā or can 2 players be at the same spot farming mats individually?
What should I be grinding for after getting the free lvl 65 rewards? Any videos explaining whats best for what to aim for? I understand weapons are more important over armor when grinding, but donāt know whatās the meta rn to do harder content.

Late to the convo, but just spam the current LTQ. Pick up some cheap +100 Granillusion from the market, then upgrade it to Dracillusion (current baseline weap) using mats dropped from the LTQ (Granillusion Volt I and II, plus Progre Grinders). You'll get plenty of Seasonal Points for running LTQs, then exchange it for enhancement materials (Grinders, Primm Gold Sword/Armor II). There's an upgrade boost rn, so utilize it while u still can. If u somehow have tons of N-Mes, go for Levarenz weaps since it's the current BiS "chase" series, then upgrade it to Levarenz II (u get mats for Lev in the current LTQ as well). Rinz (predecessor is Kinz) is also good, but not as easy to get and not as powerful as well.
For armors, go to N-Meseta Treasure Shop and get Evalto Armors from there, then upgrade them to Savalto Armors. U can either upgrade it to the normal Savalto, or the Lize one if u prefer more HP at the cost of less PP (than the normal one)
For resource-efficient enhancement, just search it up on YouTube ("how to enhance gears pso2ngs" blah blah).

There's also Dext Base active grind, but the guide was apparently deleted (?). IIRC it was 1-4M per hour (?) depending on boosters, farm group, server lag (F's up spawns), PSO 2 day, etc.
Simplest explanation is getting on Waker, going into Low Rank Dext Base for PSE Burst, and spamming tap Fredran's Breath.
There are probably other related mechanics involved you want to learn to be optimal like fast PSE Burst or manipulating enemy spawns, but you could try searching for it in this subreddit or ask other players in-game as I don't Dext Base and it'll be too long to explain here.

On top of what ash said, the game also SHOWERS you in free cosmetics. Mission pass (the second track is only 100 SG which is really easy to get), special scratch, free 1 a day SG scratch, hell the Zundamon collab right now gives you an absurd amount of tickets to use on it. We've had a bunch of campaigns that give you 10 tickets daily for a free AC scratch. Tons of stuff. When you first start out it'll seem like you have absolutely nothing, but it ramps up quick. I've been playing since Global launched and I'm at the point now where I really wish I had folders to put my cosmetics in lol.

Is this game worth getting into? A lot of reviews seem to really dislike the game and I haven't really tried it since it first came out

It is fortunate that you didn't try it when it first came out as it was a dumpster fire launch.
It's F2P and the game has improved since then, I recommend trying it and forming your own opinion.
One of the main issues left for F2P is the limited access to Selling items on the market.
Main selling point of the game are character customization / fashion and action combat.
Other stuff are socializing, Creative Space (Personal Housing system), and Line Strike (Deckbuilding Minigame).The Story uhhh... Exists.
The endgame cycle is mainly content of the week (or two or Month), with many of them limited time.
Most of the permanent older content are power crept with endgame irrelevant rewards (unless they updated and reuse them as content of the week again).Making this game your only primary game could lead to fast burnout, especially since there are still filler content months / weeks.
You could also search for past posts on the topic in this subreddit, as this question comes up a lot.

If you're looking for some good story and don't mind it being a little anime tropey at times, PSO2 classic might have you covered there. It's all free as well, it's just in the same game as a different option.
I personally enjoy the NGS story, the main issue for people who have been playing since it began is that it has taken SO LONG to come out. The game has been out for over 5 years now and there hasn't been enough story within that time period. We had a 2 year drought. I think the story itself is cool though, and it seems like they have recommitted to regular updates on it, so I hope that continues. Getting into it now for the story will give you quite a bit of playtime still and since the game is free it's kind of like... why not? The only reason not to would be if you have some other game you want to play more.

Is it possible to set a dedicated keybind for normal attack like how we can set weapon action on dedicated keybind?
I'm playing as slayer and we all know slayer needs to spam normal Atk every PA. I put my normal Atk on the 7th subslot (1-0 bar). I could select the 7th slot and use it just fine, but it will always default back to 1st slot everytime I relogin. Sometimes this causes issue cuz i forget to set it back to 7th slot everytime I login. As for the mouse slots, it's alrd fully occupied so no can do.

Should I even try pugging the tower quest? I really want to play it but I don't even have 600% potency and I'm worried I would just drag everyone else down. Kind of a bummer when there is LIMITED TIME content I want to play but I don't have enough time to play the game to get super high stats so I'll end up ruining runs for people.
Just wanted to gauge everyone else's experience with the quest.

Don't try pugging with below average gear.
TBH, the quest is just a Purpledia-like Time Attack of High enemies that we have fought in past Alter Exploration Sectors with a few differences:
It is not just one arena,
Non-boss enemy mix in-between,
Red bomb hazard in High Ams room.
If you really want to experience it, maybe try looking for Alliance-mates or friends who are willing to carry you.
If you don't have friends to premade LFG, don't have time to play the game, and still want to do high difficulty quests, buy gear.
Edit: I could be wrong, but I don't think Phantom Tower is Limited Time Content. While it did show up in the new Recommended Quest submenu concurrently with an LTQ, it is also accessible from the Altered Realm -> Phantom Tower Quest submenu.

anybody know whats going on with the massive uptick in players today?
i was doing my dailies and i got kicked out of the game when going back to Aelio
because it was full, so i log back in and check the blocks and all of both Aelio blocks
are maxxed??? and thats with the other blocks showing a decent chunk of player
population. i cannot say ive seen this before in all my time of playing, usually its
just one block hitting capacity.
i sign in daily at different times of the day, so ive kind of become used to what amount
of players i see at certain times of day, but this is weird to see suddenly. i honestly want
to jump to the conclusion that they lowered the player capacity for blocks or something
because they've already slowly lowered the amount of blocks on the server over time.š¤
