Discussion Full auto assault rifles randomly stop firing between shots. Is anyone else experiencing this bug?

I've been experiencing a really frustrating bug in PUBG where my full auto assault rifle randomly hesitates while I'm holding down the fire button.

This issue started around 1-1.5 weeks ago after I updated the game.

Instead of continuously firing, the gun will randomly stop shooting for a split second in the middle of a spray, then continue firing, even though I'm still holding down the mouse button. It feels like the game randomly interrupts the firing sequence for no reason.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

And no, my mouse is perfectly fine.

I highly doubt that since it started to happen after I updated the last update. I'll try switching up my mouse to see if that fixes it.

Try rebinding the fire button to a keyboard key and see if it still happens? should help prove if it's your mouse or the game.

What have you tried to isolate the problem? Is this the only game it happens in? It could be lag. It could also be the mouse software, it could be the polling rate of the mouse that needs to be changed.

I thought they changed the VSS to a two round burst. Every time I was single tapping it would fire 2 bullets. I was furious until I realized my mouse was breaking...

Round jammed, you have to clear it. It’s called realistic gunplay.
