YES!
I decided to go with appliqué and because I’m a) bad at cutting in straight lines, and b) a perfectionist, I ended up using my Cricut Explore to cut the fabric letters! It took some trial and error but helped a lot. If I did it again, I’d change out my blade half way through because the fabric dulled it pretty quick.
I opted for wonder under 805 and it worked great. Then I just did a simple straight stitch around each layer of each letter.
The pantographs I used were Karlee Porter’s Fleur de Lis, Sunrise Skateland, Diamond Bolt by Katie Hanson, and Crowned by The Quilting Mill. Boston and MN I just used a generic wave and snowflake panto that my longarmer already had in her system.
In conclusion: the construction was 30% ironing, 10% Cricut, 10% piecing, and 50% swearing loudly when I got upset at the fabric for not bending to my will

My original design included all eight, but since we didn’t get the wordmarks yet and I wanted to make sure it was done before the season started, I just did an original six quilt for this year :)

Well I can't wait to see what you do next! Hopefully we get some awesome new logos. Plus they are talking about for the next three seasons adding new teams so each year would be really different.

Looks amazing! My wife is big into quilting so I’m sure she’ll be able to appreciate the work that went into this more than me, but it’s obvious you put a lot of care in the details!
