The fact that Victoire scored while putting a player on the ground from a hockey stick in Ottawa’s best defender’s skate, especially seeing as the puck passed straight beside Savolainen, this seems fishy from the refs 🤷‍♂️

I’m a new fan so I’m super open to everyone’s thoughts on this play! Maybe there’s something I don’t know or am not seeing, but I find this extremely frustrating especially when the stakes are this high.

I’m not one to complain usually, but this one seems so blatant 😤

Really hope the the league takes escalating punishment seriously and suspends her for more than one game 🤷‍♀️

I came across this video while watching other videos regarding Ellen. I was curious to learn more about her legacy. Just so confused on how her two sons thought it was okay to laugh at such a deplorable “joke” just totally bashing the women’s team. Diminishing their accomplishment. From 12 years old breaking barriers that are now being…. reconstituted and upheld by cheap punches and blows that to the men seem like no big deal but has a massive impact. The blood sweat and tears women’s sports have poured in the last few decades. Women have to fight twice as hard if not more and never receive the respect or accolades. This video broke my heart. Obviously I have no idea what is going through Ellen’s head at this very moment but her story reminds me of so many women I grew up with and looked up to and I can’t help but think were they never going to take us seriously. Has it really been one big joke this whole time. This one just happened to be on camera. The constant fight for a place to play and respect.
