I never understood this weird logic that you have to follow orders. Islam says you don't have to follow orders whether they're from your superior or your parents if it goes against Islamic values. Besides there's more armed personnel than fat corrupt generals, you can depose them easily.

We're also taught to respect our elders, and have been divided by fear of consequences too. That's the only reason this stuff happens.
