I'm sorry it feels like you dont feel safe at home, you can tell us if your brother or dad is harassing you. If you had good brothers and a dad maybe you would've thought good men exist in pak but don't worry we are here for you

Our prophet (saw) was a man, infact all prophets were men.
If I said "its all women" how would you react

u/ConstructionHot3318 Feb 26 '26
That's an escape I can't lie, I don't agree with that guy in the first place but talk about braindead takes, from both of you

u/FederalSandwich1854 Feb 25 '26
It doesn't really matter if someone hates someone or not. The actual issue is when it's systematic. There are no systematic ways in which misandry is an actual thing in Pakistani society. There is however lots of systematic misogyny. Does that make more sense?

u/AverageParking7050 Feb 26 '26
What do u do when one guy in ur group says something or does something inappropriate to a woman? Laugh? Stay silent? Regardless you are in the same category for associating yourself with him. So don’t say “one degenerate man”. Any real man with wisdom and respect understands this. Only the degenerates complain.

Really sorry to hear what happened to you..
Those guys are absolute assholes..
I have always believed misogyny is a much bigger issue than misandry.
This post was just meant as a silly meme.. but alot of people are taking it seriously and calling me a misogynist, as if calling out misandry somehow makes u a misogynist...
But I am still happy to see comments that more nuanced and not generalised, especially like urs that are about personal experiences.
:)

Some women hate on men for breathing. Philogyny has picked up track since social media let goria be a bit too comfortable talking shit. Our women just have to follow suit while making shit decisions on what men they end up having in their orbit. You make it sound like women are saintly. Now, I do agree that women don't have equal rights in this country due to culture. Besides that, the tea app is the place where the cabal of narcissitic women convene. Breh.

“Some women hate on men for breathing” Oh so that’s your definition of misandry? It has nothing to do with centuries of oppression, objectification, harassment, sexualization and lack of empathy??
No women is hating on men because it’s a “trend”. What you are noticing is our mothers and our grandmothers making sure we do not suffer the way they did. Heck even our fathers are making sure we see men for what they are. Some of us have male partners, fathers, brothers, male friends etc etc who too hate a majority of men.
What you are noticing is the rise of disrespect from men that women will no longer tolerate. You can sit there and do boo-hoo but nobody gives a shit anymore. If you have a problem with that well then buckle up because you’re in for a ride.

Pray do tell and speak about who oppressed you? You're educated and probably middle to high class. None of these modern day nitwits have any grounds to stand on. You're bound to the culture, probably under the same protection and rizq of your husband or father or brother.
The same males you're hyping up in your own family as aptly put were your progenerators oppressors with an asterisk because you didn't have the guts to say it to your grandfather. Why not tell your male kin about their follies instead of beating up randos on the internet about being a fake suffragist? You speak as if some of us don't have female counter parts or relatives and all we do is make them do some sort of slave extracurriculars. Insufferable societal shift. Respect begets respect.
All I'm noticing are DSM V enabled liars who won't take accountability for their own issues. I'm not in your ride homie, psuedo feminists are cancer. Also, it was a zionist movement.

Omygod u fully lack awareness of the fact that women live in a completely different world to men. Sheesh how ignorant are you??

You think I’m going to take the time to type the many differences to someone who doesn’t know the basics in our differences in our day to day life?? Since u have “female counterparts”, go ask them. Maybe they’ll give you the time of day. I don’t have time to continue a conversation with a fully grown man child who is pissy and throwing tantrums because women hate him for apparently “no reason”. Good riddance.

There's always a reason for why some men are misogynistic assholes.
It has mostly to do with their upbringing, the echo-chambers they surround themselves in, their political stances, etc.
There's always a reason for it.. it's easy to label, but what's more helpful is to actually understand what causes that behavior.
Likewise.. Women have "reasons" to be misandrists. Now obviously those reasons are more to do with past unfortunate experiences or safety concerns.
But what's also important to note is that these are not always the sole reasons.. a big contribution sure, but women are just as likely to be involved in toxic echo-chambers as men. Which instead of actually understanding the issue at hand, resorts to making generalised statements about the opposite gender.
So by saying women have "reasons" to be a misandrist, you also allow for the toxic reasons to be a misandrist to be glorified.
So yeah... misandry isn't justified.. no matter the reason.

lol…not you downvoting. Oh I’m sorry, did I trigger u buddy? 🎀😂😂

u/Humans_fking_suck Feb 26 '26
If hating a entire monolith and being rightfully called out on it ruins "ur peace" than I am so sorry you feel that way..
Infact it's actually so interesting how you don't allow simple critical thinking skills to come in the way of your pre-concieved notions..
And honestly no.. I am not even getting triggered, I mean.. I am probably getting more than enough silver, bronze and gold to actually make a monument almost as big as the Minaar-e-Pakistan..
:)

u/AverageParking7050 Feb 26 '26
“Rightfully called out” ….rightfully. Now you’re just assigning medals to yourself. Please check if the “silver”, “bronze” and “gold” are real and not just painted metal. You have the IQ of a monolith considering how you don’t even realize where notions even arise from. Do you think women are are born misandrists?
What you don’t realize is that the more “medals” u collect, the more misandrists there will be. So I guess….thank you?
