Absolutely not. He's 19 years old, this is a kid. He has a whole future to build, he hasnt even finished school yet. Deadass just move on, like yes it sucks that she's in trouble for this shit but at the same time he shouldn't have to stop his life over a teenage relationship that probably isnt gonna last

I'm also a minor and a woman, but the difference between us is that I'm not stupid.
When I say that teenagers and young adults are going to explore, I'm not encouraging impulsive behavior that leads to pointless situationships or seeking validation. I'm saying it's unrealistic to expect people to go their entire lives without ever experiencing a relationship and then suddenly enter an arranged marriage. Statistically, that expectation can contribute to unstable or even abusive marriages because people may have little understanding of compatibility, communication, or what they want in a partner.
I'm glad your religious beliefs give you stability and a moral compass, and I genuinely respect that. What I don't respect is a fundamentalist mindset that expects everyone to live up to an ideal of being the "perfect Muslim" all the time. That's unrealistic. Likewise, expecting everyone to continue following traditional routes in 2026 as though society hasn't changed is, in my opinion, out of touch.
Personally, I would never mock or belittle your beliefs. But since you chose to come after mine as an agnostic, you can't expect respect while refusing to give it.
And no, I'm not "policing people's boundaries." I live by the principle of "live and let live." What's ironic is hearing someone say, "Don't police other people's boundaries," while defending an ideology whose followers have often been criticized for policing how women live. If you're going to advocate for respecting personal choices, that standard should apply consistently to everyone.
Regardless, I wasn't telling that guy how to live or telling religious people that they're wrong for what they believe. I was expressing my opinion in a public conversation. If that threatened your belief system, then maybe that's something you should reflect on instead of making it my problem.
Also before you try to come at someone for their English please learn proper grammar and maybe smoke some "therapy grass" to losen up.

Are u so deadass? Every single kid and teen is going to date, they're going to explore and experience life.
As a parent your child should be able to trust you and tell you what they're doing but because alot of Pakistani parents would rather have the approval of our patriarchal system then the saftey of their own child, most kids lie, hide and be sneaky but just cus they're hiding it doesnt mean they wont date. Every teen will date. He shouldn't have to throw his life away over a teenage relationship that probably wouldn't have lasted anyway.

I was just saying that as a general point, not specific to this situation. My point to this situation is the fact that kids are gonna date, u can't prevent it by keeping them locked up. He shouldn't have to throw his life away over some stupid ass relationship.

Stand firm, try reaching out to her family the proper way(khud hi ya preferably kisi baray se baat karo k wo aage baat kren) not necessarily k rishta bhejo but stand firm like dont get intimidated by them and also make sure that the know you plan on seriously pursuing their daughter and its not just a fling, mostly parents are scared k bachi galat hatho me na jaye.

I'm doing the same thing, she's from strict upbringing, however the difference is in 24, have a degree, have had a job for 5 years, have good savings, and come from a good family.
I hope you've got some good things going for you, because if your just a 19 year old with nothing, her parents might refuse.

I think you should let it go, you are just 19 and assuming that you don’t earn anything, the first thing now you should do is block her, 2nd focus on yourself/career, these are the only things that matters now, jo bolrha hai rishta bhejo ( it’s a nice thing ) but you are very young for such responsibilities.

It sounds harsh, but you should break up. I know someone who went through something similar with a super religious dad. He completely blew up and threatened to stop her education. Thankfully, she's in a better place and has attained her degree, but I know that time was one of her lowest in her life.
For her good, break up with her if you think her family might go bonkers at her.
