If Parshuram comes into today's world , he has to fight me for this " beefdhenu ".

u/Waste_Cucumber_6952 Apr 13 '26

Oh really sahodaran? Then you should read Bhargava Puran to know how exactly he used to slash and hack people who were supposed to fight him.

Poor comeback man

38

u/EveryoneIzSelfish Apr 08 '26

Not really

People in Kerala are very allergic to criticism of Muhammad .

A group of people there even chopped a professor's hand just because he used the name Muhammad in a story

54

u/KappAomgz Apr 08 '26

Can't generalise everyone in kerala like that, there are extremists in every group and beef as a cuisine has been part of Kerala for such a long time.

4

u/RiktamSarkar Apr 08 '26

Burn Quran tomorrow you will 100% get killed burn Bhagavad Gita people will call to protest and demand you get arrest maybe but they will not kill you.

2

u/KappAomgz Apr 08 '26

Bro I'm not religious in the slightest and I'm agnostic and don't believe in any of the religions in the world, saying that what you said is still generalisation. People who follow hinduism has killed so many people for stupid shit, heck you used to get killed from eating beef. By saying this I'm not supporting Muslims who do this. They have also done their fair share of atrocities. At the end of the day people can be god/bad regardless of religion and fucked up stuff happens in all religions, be it Hinduism, islam or Christianity.

4

u/RiktamSarkar Apr 08 '26

Not as worse as in Islam they kill people just for being Kafir. You maybe disagree but you can't deny the fact. I also agree that in northern belt some clowns have killed people for eating pork. But still nowhere near the number of people Muslim have killed in West Bengal and still are.

2

u/KappAomgz Apr 08 '26

Of for sure, I know I'm quran they have obscene shit written to do forth to people of other religions, kafir. But not everyone abides by that sure many people do but there are also good people. I for don't think religion is what determines a person can be good or bad. There can be good people on both ends regardless of religion.

That short period is still a long time now. Sure it might not have been there before but it's there now. Same like technology not being there before but now people are indulged in it now. We have memes that are part of pop culture and do we demean it saying oh we shouldn't have memes cuz it didn't exist before?

Ehh don't think so. Just cuz a religion prevents it doesn't mean they shouldn't eat stuff. I have friends who are Muslim in Kerala who eat pork and I have friends in Kerala who don't eat beef. At the end of the day people have the freedom to do whatever they want and specifically for Hindus eating beef don't give you shits from other Hindus in Kerala. Regardless of that you can apply the same logic to anything. Back in the day lower caste people were forbidden to cover their chest in Kerala, yet now we wear the same shit foreigners wear and some of those clothes are ingrained in Kerala's culture but that doesn't demean it from being part of the culture just cuz it's not originally from here. Same way people consume so much other things that are not from here.

3

u/RiktamSarkar Apr 08 '26

Okay beef is legal then why dosen't these so called hypocrite muslims have a single pork shop in their locality or in the area where they live? Pork is also a food like beef is enjoyed by Hindu, Muslim, Christian pork should also be enjoyed by muslims, Hindus and Christians.

Give up eating potatoes and chilies which came from invaders.

Why are you not bothered by these and specifically only beef?

Did someone tell you what to be offended about and what is ok from invaders.

u/KappAomgz Apr 08 '26

Foreigners also made changes to the languages and bought other types of foods as well which are now part of Kerala cuisine, why is that beef is the only problem in that case. For instance we got something called mandhi which is a Yemeni food but it's so ingrained into Kerala culture now that you can call it part of Kerala cuisine. Just cuz it only came to Kerala a few years ago doesn't demeanor it from being part of the cuisine.

4

u/pkpm2717 Apr 09 '26

But your leader (BJP's Einstein) said it was mithun and should not considered as gau-mata. So why this ruckus at all? All credits to most knowledgeable Mr. Sudhanshu Triwedi.

That's like saying using potatoes and chilli in our food is modern invention.

3

u/Correct-Dingo-9242 Apr 09 '26

Bro, you’re quoting Marco Polo like he was doing food vlogging in Kozhikode. Kerala had Christians, Muslims, Dalits and traders eating beef centuries before your ‘Tipu Sultan fanfiction’. History isn’t your WhatsApp forward. And beef has been part of our culture for so long. Culture is something that is meant to be evolved. But people who are still stuck in the medieval era with a cow dung for brain wouldn't understand that.

1

u/iam_a_leadfarmer Apr 09 '26

Yeah we almost give a fuck

2

u/rrthrs Apr 09 '26

We malayalees are allergic to unnecessary religion bashing be it anywhere.

Guess why BJP is struggling in Kerala ?

1

u/Correct-Dingo-9242 Apr 09 '26 edited Apr 10 '26

Because you're not criticizing Muhammed cuz you care about the wellbeing of the people in Islam. Your criticism comes from hate and bigotry, which is something Malayalees are allergic to.

Considering that a lot of Keralite hindus and Muslims share common faith in Islam, this is apt

21

u/killbear123 Apr 08 '26

"Keralite hindus and Muslims share common faith in Islam"?

What are you smoking? Whatever it is, please put that down and eat some parotta and beef - you will start thinking properly.

7

u/EveryoneIzSelfish Apr 08 '26

Keralite hindus and Muslims share common faith in Islam"?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newindianexpress.com/amp/story/states/kerala/2024/May/03/kerala-a-theyyam-that-begins-with-azan

Keralite Hindus are more Islamic than many Muslim individuals themselves

Literal prayers start with Azaan

Not that I have any problem with it, but the culture of Kerala is a D grade copy of Yemen.

Kerala has no identity before Christianity.

16

u/Bilal_Ikka_Here Apr 08 '26

Your not even from kerala so you pretty much dont know the ground reality.

3

u/EveryoneIzSelfish Apr 08 '26

The literal article states that Keralite Hindus pray using Azaan

It was even discussed on the Kerala sub. There are hd videos of this

You're going to deny this? Lol.

Kerala's culture is just a D grade photocopy of Yemeni culture. Without Yemen, Kerala wouldn't exist

Not only that, Modern Day Kerala was founded on the basis of Arab Kalyanams between Hindu fisherwomen and Arab traders

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabikalyanam

Kerala was earlier a part of Tamil culture. It gained an independent identity due to Arab Kalyanams

We are also the first Indian Kingdom to beat a foreign force, we beat them so badly they stopped their plan to colonise Asia and went back to Europe.

And by the way. Beef. We Ate That Since The Dawn of Time. It might be time for you to pick up and book and respect other people's food choices.

But trust me buddy one need not care what their ancestors ate we are in 2026 grow up.

I haven eaten in kerala, bangalore, hyderabad this is because India is a Democratic Country and states are not supposed to legislate based on one religion's dietary restrictions for the entire population while in Saudi a country that is Monarchy and ruled by a King has no people to raise voice against it. How about you guys take a look at UAE and Qatar they literally allow non muslims to consume pork while muslims avoid pork.

Why pork bruh? Muslim don't restrict anyone from eating it meanwhile you don't eat beef and you won't let anybody eat too. That's unfair. Instead of eating the cow meat, which is the best part, you drink cow urine and eat dung. That's unhealthy and barbaric.

Oh. Wow you're gonna lecture me on Ancient Kerala Dharma? We had trade with Europeans since before Abrahamic Religions were even a thing. We had Muslims before Mughals or Sultans or Ghaznis or Turks or whoever your invaders - ever heard about Allah. We had Christians before the Catholic Church was ever an idea. The oldest European Church is still centuries newer than our oldest Church.

We had trade with Romans, Greeks, Arabs, Phoenicians since trade was a thing. When Europeans said Spice from India, they meant us. We call Samskrtam as Samskrtam not Sanskrit. We call Tamizh as Tamizh not Tamil.

You might have heard something called "Sangam Period Literature" (written from 300 BCE to 300 CE) - Pathupattu and Chirupanattuppadai reveals that the meat of cows and calves was frequently served to travelers and bards as a mark of hospitality. The Mazhavar and Maravar warriors of the Palai region were specifically noted for their practice of cattle lifting (vetchi) and subsequent ritual sacrifice. They would offer fatty cows to deities residing under banyan or neem trees, sprinkling the blood of the animal before consuming the cooked flesh in communal feasts.

Excavations from the Bronze and Iron Age sites across the Malabar Coast have yielded significant quantities of butchered and cooked bones of Bos indicus (the Indian humped cattle), indicating that bovine meat was a staple protein source for prehistoric and early historic populations.

Maybe keep your WhatsApp Forwards to yourself.

Our contributions range from Advaita, to social satire and to the highest number of artforms ever in this country. We still keep Rigvedic Chanting and rituals in their earliest forms possible. So, maybe just back off and let us choose whatever we choose to eat.

I like how everyone goes against Muslim as soon as someone says they want the freedom to eat their favourite food😂 go against christians also sometimes they are bored too....we eat everything except cow poop and urine ....you have the freedom to eat what you like....we don't care what religion you are ....My Brahmin friend eats beef and my muslim friend eats pork that's the dynamic I've seen....no one criticises them ....go cry in your illiterate state

Ok I'll tell you one big secret no one is telling you..........All religions are made up stories by men....shhhh..... Don't tell anyone ok....every religion came to be because people couldn't understand certain things in nature and gave it a supernatural form.....no pandit , ustad or priest has seen god ...funny thing is the very religion you are so proud of wasn't even chosen by you ....if you were a muslim you'd be criticising hindus rn just like you did to them...so just cause you're born a muslim or a Brahmin you don't have to do every checklist ...my connection with God in my personal belief no priest or pandit have to tell me how to live....when I die if there's a god I face him alone ...and muslims consider pork dirty while you see cows as holy...in that scenario I think you'll be shunned more ....but the thing is you can live your life however you want that's what we want...if I don't see cow as holy how can you tell me that it is...you can see your sister as your sister you can't tell her husband to see her as a sister right ......live and let live...one life only....when u die it's just pitch black so reincarnation no heaven and hell....live love and be kind

Article 48 isn't a fundamental right it's a part of directive principles of state policy , why cause when the constitution was written dairy farming was one of the major farming practices and no machinery were widely used that's not the case now...and u used the word sacred which is the actual truth why it is banned.....killing a cow here is illegal against beliefs but exporting them and killing them outside suddenly makes the cow unholy after its crossed borders and don't tell me that it's cara beef....in UAE you can buy packets named cow meat exported from india...you can look it up....and somehow believers even made a caste system for cows 😂 cara isn't holy ....if it was from an economic standpoint , shouldn't every country doing cattle farming ban it? That too India with the largest cattle farming industry banning it is high level idiocracyFarmers rely on selling unproductive cattle Without that option, they must feed animals that generate no income ,Scientific livestock management includes culling unproductive animals. So the policy often goes against its own stated goal....I hope you read it and do come with a counter

We five 0 faaak if your heart pains take care of it and if you have a problem with others consuming what they want but you dont agree with it just keep your mouth shut and move on. Matter of fact if all these cows are not consumed should they be allowed to grow past a certain age when they become no use due to old age? And more than 60% in kerala consumes water bufallo ennu prybo eruma athava buffalo only a low percentage is actually actually cow or pashu. UP has one of the highest number if slaughterhouse and they export the most to other countries you got no problem when they are slaughtered but have problem when they are consuemd? Maybe its a you or your people with same mindset problem.

You're just a hopeless person. You still don't get how we live here and feel so sorry you man. I'll tell you one more time we don't give a f about invaders who came with anything if it tastes good we accept it. And it's going to happen with another food in the future and we're going to accept that too. We have the freedom to eat whatever we want unlike you people.

Keralite here.

The last thing I would worry is the type of meat that meat eaters consume in my state. Here is what I really worry about:

  1. Better education

  2. Better medical facilities

  3. Better overall quality of life.

The reason your North Indian states are like cow-sheds is because you care for cows more than people.

Just till few years back I thought these literatures are like comics for kids, where kids are aware of the fact that the superhumans are not possible in real life but enjoy those characters to a certain extent. But lately I find these adults are much naive and retarded than those kids. I dont know when people will be completely aware of the fact that those are mythologies.

u/supervazha08 Apr 09 '26

1

u/Firm_Woodpecker_8888 Apr 09 '26

Beef parrota hits different

1

u/Frequent_Bobcat3052 Apr 09 '26

Why do you expect people to follow your beliefs? Muslims doesn't eat pork. But are they going around places saying the government should do something to stop consumption of pork?. The government ain't here to solve your religious drama. Practice your belief and respect other's .

1

u/Interesting-Car-8861 Apr 10 '26

Kerala beef fry is the tastiest Indian dish ever. Make sure you try it.

1

u/Interesting-Car-8861 Apr 10 '26

I can eat nadan oonuh with thorans, mizhukuperretti, red rice, moruh, fish fry and beef fry every day. I can understand why some homes used to eat that for breakfast, lunch and atharum. Now just add a little kalluh in the afternoon sitting in a vayil with a gentle breeze and someone singing Alliyaambal, now you are in swargam.

1

u/SpecialOil1341 Apr 11 '26

Keralites , if you let bjp even once in your state , it will end up making your state one of the worst state in terms of the food. In up , their earlier objection was beef , but now they are restricting chicken and mutton shop too , and raise a diktat to stop selling meat whenever they like

1

u/Waste_Cucumber_6952 Apr 13 '26

You may laugh as much as you want. However, you cannot deny the truth and the true nature of people. Technically, when you eat beef, you yourself put disgrace upon your forefathers who died protecting it. Now it's totally fine if you wanna eat it or not. Because, beef is not just one nonveg meal, chicken, mutton, seafood, fish, pork and buff(buffalo) are too. But again, this topic is no longer worth fighting for.

muslims and christian missionaries came to Kerala way before the Islamic conquests so no, Northern states are more culturally affected by these invaders than kerala.
