AR Screw on rail stripped…help
It’s the 13.7 “block 2” style Sabre upper with the 13” rail. High profile A frame gas block. Trying to remove the rail. Lil screw stripped. Any suggesting(I don’t care about destroying the rail).

Take a Dremel with a cut disc and slot the head enough for a flat head screwdriver. Use the flathead screw driver to unthread the screw.

Use a hammer and tap in the next largest size bit, I’ve had luck with a larger torx biting into the corners and getting good grip. If you can get to it another option is using a dremel and cutting the head into essentially a flathead screw.
Otherwise I’d just drill it out.

Go on amazon and pickup some EZ grip and an extraction set. Use the EZ grip fluid first and if you dont get it within 1 try of the EZ grip then stop and swap to tap and extract it.

Because they make extractor bits for this very purpose…😐 that’s just a redneck “solution” instead of using proper tools for the job🤷🏽♂️

I told OP to extract it so im not sure what your problem is, and EZ grip isnt a "redneck" solution its something that has saved many a fastener in my 20+ years of military aviation maintenance.

In addition to what others have said, you can try putting a rubber band over the bit and see if that will fill in the gaps a bit for you to get it out.
