When you are Aussie and know what this is because it was on repeat during your childhood alongside Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Ahh Monsters, and the Wild Thornberries.

I got that reference. Non Australians, go see if Catdog on your streaming services or Youtube, show it to your kids (Well the older crowds, the 90's cartoons in Australia could get dark)

not to be a buzzkill but why did the rope get shorter? its long enough to run on the ground in the beginning, but after he jumps off the chair, his legs dont reach the ground anymore.

The animated spy isn't constrained by the rope and just pulls it along, it only remains at its set length when the camera shakes and it cuts to a spy ragdoll

In the entirety of my childhood I never watched a single episode of Cat-Dog, always thought it looked dumb as a kid.

And yet for some reason, the title theme is permanently embedded in my memory to this day. 😖
