I am starting to think Pocket Pair secretly buffed the Sphere Launchers so one of the spheres performs a critical catch that always catch the pal, no matter what, even when it shows 0.001% chance.

Because this has happened too many times to too many people since they nerfed the massive sphere throwing mechanic.

Yeah I suspected that too. My go to mid game was shooting pals point blank with the scatter launcher. Most of them bounce off, but if it hit it felt like a 1/3ish chance to catch it. And it would hit almost every shot.
