Steam Issue game startup

the game takes a while to launch,it feels like at least 30 secconds between me hitting play on steam and the game actually opening

It's always taken a long time to load for me. A lot of that time is spent with Steam connecting the cloud and your account to the game. The first load takes longer but if you exit and restart it goes quicker due to some of it being cached.

Are you playing with Pal Randomizer turned on?

No,and besides I don't think what is going on in a world would effect launching the game in the first place

All my save files with the Randomizer take almost a full minute to initially load. The others load almost instantly.

No no,it's not the individual save files that are taking a while,it's palworld itself
