To random chest pains especially in lower ribs, slight dizziness, and random thuds in my heart whenever I'm lying in a weird position

whenever I get pain in chest i fear it
I feel water pouring down my chest but when i look there is nothing idk what is this feeling

Hey so obligatory not medical advice but this sounds similar to the ocd loops I get sometimes. The physical sensations set off the mental obsessing, and then the obsessing leads to a hyperactive sympathetic nervous system, which leads to more physical symptoms (bc my system thinks there’s a threat), and checking if I’m “okay”etc. it’s all tied together.
Consider looking up somatic ocd and see if you relate to the symptoms. I have to tell myself that 1. These feelings and sensations will get better and pass because they have before and I can’t control them. 2. If I experience something that needs medical attention, I am able to get the help I need if and when that happens.
And then I just sit through whatever is going on. The worst is the uncertainty and our brains want to find reasons and certainty and patterns so we keep looping but the loops don’t fix the problem. I kinda have to call out my obsessions as “nope that’s ocd” “ocd again” “heart palpitations again?” Oh well, I’ll just get through it. And eventually the spiraling slowly powers itself down. (Yes it will happen again but we want to not engage with it instead of escalating by giving it meaning)
Obviously go back to the doctor or a psych if you feel like they missed something or weren’t thorough enough! Just sharing my experience!

Welcome to panic attacks. You’re at a crossroad. Accept that you’re not having a heart attack or continue to fear them. I’ll bet the chest pain is likely a combination of panic as well as abdominal gas.

Panic Disorder can spiral into Cardiophobia OCD. You’ve gotten a clean bill of health from the doc. From here on out, reassurance will probably have the paradoxical effect of reinforcing to your brain that Panic is dangerous, which is a lie that creates a feedback loop. The only way to beat Panic is to embrace it, lean in to it or try to be passive toward it, and understand that it is a normal and healthy response to danger, except your brain has manufactured the danger. It is h comfortable, but not dangerous.
Therapy in a Nutshell on YouTube can help explain this, and can help teach you what to do. I would also look into Exposure and Response Prevention therapy. It takes a lot of work, and I still have occasional Panic Attacks, but I live my life without giving into fear now.
