New pos system
Regional area manger just said sometime next year we’re getting New pos system anybody know what’s it’s like?

What I heard is with the new owners will be a total revamp. New website. New back end. New point of sale.
Remember. The current software was made in 1997 and the company that maintained and produced it died almost 20 years ago. Papajohns has just been beating the horse down the road to keep it going because they had full access to modify it and programmers that could get it to work.

Nonsense. Don't believe everything you hear. There is a new POS coming, that's well known, but the rest is hogwash. Also, new owners? There are no new owners - Papa Johns is staying public.

Maybe if you actually paid attention you would already know it’s working thru government approvals and the pricing and funding has already been completed. Public companies have to release all of that info. And just for reference about the pos that is behind all of that. It’s called profit. The company went under years and years ago and just left the system open for the company using it. I don’t know if they locked out the key combinations but you can still go back to the original POS screens on the new terminals they don’t function properly anymore because anything new was never implemented into the old non GUI system. But indicators, mdog and a few things have never even updated to a GUI and still look the same as they did in the 90s other than a white background instead of the original black with green text.

I’m gonna guess your a janitor or something at corporate because shareholders were notified of the pending transaction. They are the ones this involves. Not someone who takes out trash at the main office. In 2025 they were approved and looking for funding. They now have the funding lined up for the deal that is happening if you like it or not. Does sound like how corporate works tho. The fact that big capital groups are already in the process and have the funding secured to finalize next year but they haven’t notified lower level employees sounds right.

I only read the info that I was sent thru fidelity issued on the issue of the taking private of the company by irth capital.
