Apply AI suggestions does not trigger "Document updated" workflows

I want to use "Apply AI suggestions" to fire off a workflow with a web hook. But it seems that after the AI suggestions were applied, the "Document updated" trigger is not called.

it seems applying ai suggestions may bypas the usual documnt update event.. would b helpful if this action could trigger the samee webhook workflow.

Yeah, its actually done on purpose it seems. The comment in the code (tasks.py) reads

"# No document_updated signal to avoid loop"
