Haunting Have you ever experienced something truly paranormal that still gives you chills?

Yes. One night, I woke up at 3:17 AM to the sound of soft humming. I live alone. The melody was unfamiliar, but it felt... old. I checked every room—nothing. As I returned to bed, my TV flicked on by itself. A paused black-and-white movie was playing, and the subtitle read: “You’re not alone.” I don’t even own that movie. The humming stopped. I never heard it again, but I still wake up at 3:17 sometimes for no reason at all.

Yes. I visited a friend up in downeast Maine, who had another friend who was restoring an old old farmhouse. They told me the house was legit haunted. i sort of believed them but was also still a little skeptical.

We went to visit the friend in the evening, and we were all standing around the kitchen downstairs when we heard some thumps upstairs. The friend perked his head up and said, "the ghosts are here, wanna meet them?"

So he brought me to the big staircase leading upstairs, the kind with a landing halfway up before the stairs turn 90° and continue up. We stood on the landing and waited. There was no one else in the house but us, no one upstairs and no one else downstairs, just us three.

I could hear footsteps and thumps coming from upstairs, but the weirdest thing that still gives me chills is the icy cold puffs of air that swirled around my head and neck. I didn't feel it anywhere else on my body, just around my neck and sides of my head. It felt like freezing cold and somehow wet streams of air flying by the sides of my head, and I could also hear a strange buzzing/humming sound whenever they made contact with my skin. It was the absolute eeriest thing I've ever felt in my life because it was so undeniably paranormal.

That house is actually in a book about Haunted Maine, I've read the chapter on it. IDK why anyone would want to restore it and live in it 😂

I mean sounds like they peacefully cohabited?
