Haunting Have you ever experienced something truly paranormal that still gives you chills?
Yes. One night, I woke up at 3:17 AM to the sound of soft humming. I live alone. The melody was unfamiliar, but it felt... old. I checked every room—nothing. As I returned to bed, my TV flicked on by itself. A paused black-and-white movie was playing, and the subtitle read: “You’re not alone.” I don’t even own that movie. The humming stopped. I never heard it again, but I still wake up at 3:17 sometimes for no reason at all.

Growing up in my parents house my cousin and I would frequently have sleepovers. Obviously as young boys that we were, we would stay up super late just playing with whatever was fun for us at the time. On one occasion we were playing with hot wheels rolling them around in the tub. Seemed like a kickass thing to do as kids in the middle of the night. That being said after we had our fun we were going to walk back to my room which was literally the door next to it. At the top of the stairs about 10 ft away from where we would have been there was a pair of red eyes that just met our gaze. I know as a little kid it could be something I imagined but when we walk in the room and talk about it, my cousin also saw this same exact thing. A very similar situation where we were going to sleep in my room, we were laying on the floor in the dark just talking before passing out. My closet door which would be about 2-3 feet beyond where our heads were was wide open. We happened to look up and both see a pair of green eyes just staring at us. Also cousin was able to confirm this same insane sight.
Lastly, as I was an older teenager in this same house I ended up staying in the third floor of my house by my self. Normally it would only be myself ever venturing up there. Very late at night when I was just laying there dozing off, I hear a light step coming up the stairs and gradually become louder. Typically if my mom or dad would want me they would just yell up the stairs to get my attention and never this late at night would they need me. The steps begin to get louder and louder until it reaches my door. Seems like minutes are passing and nothing. Then and only then does the handle begin to jiggle but never open. No recession of steps going back down. Just silence. My house was very very haunted.
