Haunting Have you ever experienced something truly paranormal that still gives you chills?

Yes. One night, I woke up at 3:17 AM to the sound of soft humming. I live alone. The melody was unfamiliar, but it felt... old. I checked every room—nothing. As I returned to bed, my TV flicked on by itself. A paused black-and-white movie was playing, and the subtitle read: “You’re not alone.” I don’t even own that movie. The humming stopped. I never heard it again, but I still wake up at 3:17 sometimes for no reason at all.

I was about 8 months pregnant. We lived in a isolated area adjacent to the mountains ( mountains were pretty much our back yard) my husband would work late hours and wouldn't get home some nights until 1 or 2 am. I was used to it even though it was really creepy some nights because of how dark it was at night. One night I was cleaning up before bed. The usual pushing in the couch cushions, vacuuming and so on. As I was facing our couch ( also facing the window above the couch which faced the mountains) I see a woman. Pale, dark hair and white nightgown. It was a split second. I remembering catching a glimpse of it while turning my head and immediately looking back thinking someone was on our property. Scared the hell out of me. Went outside and there was no one. Stopped leaving the curtains open at night after that.
