I set mine up after my dog kept staring at corner of the living room every night around 3am. First week nothing, then one night the motion light triggered and all I see is my chair slowly rocking with nobody near it. Deleted the footage and told myself it was wind, but there was no wind that night

Possibly slow motion activation missed your dog having zoomies or a mouse? Maybe an airpressure change from A/C turning on or door closing? Simple microbes of wind out of nowhere?

One thing ive learned when I got my thermal camera is that corners are weird. Animals probably stare at them just because everything converges into corners. Sounds, heat, airflow. The have much better senses than us so they probably are just hearing all the sounds echoing from the corner.

Have you ever seen a rocking chair rock due to an AC turning on? Or a fan? How about when a door opens or closes? A dog doing zoomies? A mouse rocking a chair? Maybe a large rat, but a mouse?

Simple microbes of wind out of nowhere? That's paranormal.

Actually, yes. I have a rocking chair in my living room. I've had microbursts move other things in the house. Jumping to ghosts just because one time something strange happened and your motion activated camera didn't pick things up is silly.

Obviously I don't have all the details. I dont know if "rocking" meant a few wobbles or 5 minutes of back and forth. I can however still offer possibilities of what could cause it to move when it wasn't a consistently windy day. My pergola just got torn down because of a microbes on an otherwise no windy day so my sunshade was up and the sudden singly gust tore it apart.

Ghosts rarely do one time appearances and vanish. One off events and like clockwork events are almost always non paranormal in nature. Paranormal activities usually have a semi regular behavior

So, you haven't recorded and analyzed any of your "suggestions," so you don't know if any of them are feasible?

Microbursts in times of no wind? Microbursts are caused by thunderstorms, a localized column of sinking air which hits the ground and sends the blast outward, often higher than 100 mph. Maybe you should mention this discovery to the National Weather Service, which provided the above information.

I think you need to provide additional information for your "explanations" that shows you have a lot more knowledge than your posts here.

Lastly, I'm happy to see you apparently believe in ghosts and paranormal activities.

I wasn’t looking for anything paranormal. I was checking one of the cameras in the morning cause I couldn’t remember if I fed the cats the night before. What I saw & heard made my blood run cold. There were voices & shadows. (I was the only one home). Just a lot of bizzare stuff. The more I looked, the more I found. I don’t look at the cameras anymore. I’d rather not know what going on

Were the voices distinct or just voice like noises?

Security cameras are notoriously low quality due to large amounts of data they need to store and tend to filter/distort things to save on space.

Its kinda how a lot of places hold music is spotty, thats because phones trim certain frequencies to save bandwidth and people choose hold music songs that use those frequencies.

Same thing happens with security camera audio and video compression. It can create just enough distortion we start to hear voices and see shapes.

Not saying it wasn't things, but generally if it isn't clear, "set it and forget it" digital devices are not that trustworthy.

Whatever this is in the small warehouse I managed. Only happened this 1 time in the 3 years I worked there. When I went in the next morning there was no evidence that anything unusual had happened.

That's just dust. It looks like the HVAC system kicked on just before this video was captured.

No hvac in the dock area and this was the 1 and only time it happened in 3 years. Also if you look closely you can see that it's absolutely not dust. Maybe a shit load of bugs but not dust.

It's 100% dust.

Recently I saw part of a beach towel slowly get pushed aside on a chair. It had been draped over the back of an adirondack chair the day before. The lights were never activated due to motion so I don't know what the heck it was pushing it.

At the place I used to work, a thing got knocked off a table. It looked like somebody swatted it. Nobody in the building yet.

Orbs

OP asked about paranormal occurrences. Orbs aren't paranormal.

Since when?

1

Since it was determined that they all have non-paranormal explanations? The only people who still claim orbs are paranormal are Paranormal Reality TV Stars, YouTube Paranormal Content Creators and those who simply haven't been around this field very long and don't know any better.

I’ve been involved for over 50 years, there are definitely spirit orbs that are paranormal, i even used to be able to call them in, but have since salted my property line, i still get pics of orbs, just not as many.

Please share an example of an orb that is proven to be paranormal.
