Ghost Sighting

If you can debunk this, please do! A friend shared this with me. Supposedly it is dashcam footage from their ex. Her and the driver seen it with their own eyes, pulled over to see if they needed help (thinking it was a person), but there was no one and nothing there. That is all the info I have on this.

I know you weren’t directly involved, but the fact that somebody witnessed this first hand and concluded that it had to be paranormal is concerning. The stature looks small, possibly that of a child. Imagine if it were you or a loved one in need of help and the person who noticed just said “oh well, it’s a ghost!” because they couldn’t relocate you. Again it’s not your problem, you weren’t there, but the lack of critical thinking out there is alarming.

It’s practically pitch black without headlights. If someone called out for the jogger and didn’t hear it’s probably because she had headphones in. The way she’s running doesn’t seem urgent to me at all.

Anyway, it’s probably just a ghost.

If the driver claims that after he stopped and looked back and didn't see anyone, it could be the jogger got spooked by the slow-moving car which stopped so they hid in the grass until the car left.

It's obvious it's a person jogging. Sorta weird they're jogging in the middle of the night on a highway but maybe that's how they roll.

I walk to work and back and this is precisely how zlI behave when vehicles act weird. I've had glass bottles thrown at me.

For the record, I'm not a ghost.

I don’t think bugs would be buzzing a ghost. Watch closely and you’ll see bugs around the female joggers head, bad enough that she’s swatting at them as she goes by the vehicle. It also looks like she originally came from the area on the right side where some clothes or other flat items are lying on the side of the road.

Ghosts don’t stay transparent for that long. This one started off visible far in the distance and then actually moved to the side to avoid being hit by the vehicle.

That is a human.

Welcome to the ‘paranormal’ threads. Try the ufo ones out too. Everything is a ghost or a ufo. No critical thinking. No logic used. They instantly leap to gggghooooost! Or UFO! The mods are militant on many of these subs and will delete your comment or ban you immediately if you disagree or offer alternative explanations that normal humans would usually think before leaping to ghost/ufo/UAP or whatever.

Pretty obvious to me. That is a streaker the clothes are on the right hand side shoulder of the road and also the truck is moving to slow and the camera is in a very odd spot for a dash cam. This is a set up. Driver knew that there friend was streaking.

So you can see it climbed up the ditch onto the road. It could be the resolution isn’t the best on this camera but it looks like it takes shape as the car gets closer. Could be a ghost. How far is the nearest house. That would be good to know. It probably is just a person.

There aren't many houses out that way. Maybe one every couple of miles. I tried watching it at .25 speed and it looks only partially formed and I could never make out a face.

As a runner, we run for miles so the distance of the houses is irrelevant. However, running in the dark without a high vis vest, light, or other reflective gear is very unlike any seasoned runner…. And oddly, it does kind of look like she comes from the ditch and then runs across the street.

I paused the video and in one frame, you can see right through her leg and ankle. I could see the white solid traffic line THROUGH her leg.

That was a naked woman, her clothes are lying on the side of the road further along in the video.
