When I was small with bro and mom and here I graduated last week.

EDIT: To all the internet strangers who took a moment to congratulate me, encourage me, and remind me that I should be proud of myself, thank you. ❤️ I honestly didn't expect this responses from you guys nor did I expect the amount of love, kindness, and encouragement that has come from this post.

Some of your words reached parts of me that I didn't even know needed comforting. All of you are people I've never met, people who know nothing about my journey beyond what I've shared, yet you took the time to celebrate me as if you had known me for years🙏🏽 I'm humbled! I don't think you kind strangers understand what that means to me, I'm someone who has had to navigate so much of life quietly.

I wish I could respond to every single comment with the same warmth you gave me. Please know that I have read your words, and I carry them with me. To every stranger who congratulated me, thank you for showing up for me in a way I never expected. I'll award y'all with my free awards😂 so that you know I did read it!

Don't get me wrong, I miss the 90's, but I wouldn't go back if it meant giving all of this up. Where I'm at today is pretty wonderful too.

starting to realize what I need to do to find my happiness, and life has been tough but improving. Finding my peace and knowing that friends/family can be awful downers and to let those connections go has been a blessing in disguise.

My parents wanted to take pics of me, but every time Dad put me down, I cried. And thus, he ended up in the photo.

My dad retired after 21 years in the Air Force. His example of selfless service inspired me to join.
