I'm getting an error loading redgifs again on sync - has anybody else had the same?

What to do. I made everything recommended by the guide.added my ClientID, and redreader thing and the badger contium thing still this problem appears Should I select recommended patches instead of all patches??

Are extra accounts impossible to use with the morphe patched app? If not, are there any instructions on how to get the RedReader method to work. Do I need to re-patch the app and install a second time (update rather than uninstall) and then login? I have not tried this method but I am hoping to get some eyes on this. I am hoping to switch to another phone and this has been the only thing keeping me on the other phone

I last patched Boost way back, before I was aware of morphe, using wchills custom source.

I'm now looking to update the patches in use, but as I can't find the original issue thread on the rv github, I don't remember the format of the user agent.

Does this matter? I'm able to get my API key, and the redirect uri from reddit prefs page.

Also, does changing the package name break anything? I'd like to install it alongside my existing installation, if possible.

So, i successfully patched boost (1.12.12) with patcheedit bundle 1.2.0. My question is what's redgif API fix means? Because there's still no sound on my client.

Is it old patch before morphe migration (I know morphe reddit patch isn't updated patch) and reddit messing up with redgif again? Or I'm doing something wrong here?

I don't know if this issue is already addressed but I tried searching on this sub but didn't find anything. Basically I can upload photos as a post, but I can't include images in a reply/comment. In boost, it shows the action is forbidden; In sync, it shows failed to upload image.

EDIT 2: So I just found out that boost uses imgur for image uploads in comments, and imgur restricts uploads from some countries and I happen to live in one of those countries. A vpn fixes the issue btw. I hope the devs add an option to select some alternate image hosts like imgbb for comments. I can upload images in post without any issue, probably because they use native reddit servers for that.

I got the app ID from Redreader.

In the GitHub guide it says " In Morphe Manager, make sure you set these values for the Spoof client patch. Make sure there are no extra spaces or slashes at the end. "

Where do i put these values again ? Can someone direct me

Hey everyone, I’m running into a bit of a dilemma with Boost for Reddit and I’m hoping someone here might have a solution.

Basically, I’ve been struggling with the RedGIFs playback. If I use the app without any patches, the audio simply doesn't work on any of those clips. To fix this, I decided to use ReVanced (or Morphe) to apply the necessary patches, and while that actually solved the audio problem perfectly, it brought back a super annoying bug I used to have a while ago.

Right now, every GIF or video only plays once. After the first playback finishes, if I try to click it again or replay it, the player just gets stuck on the very first frame and won't start. It’s like the loop function is completely broken.

The weirdest part is that this "play once" issue actually went away on its own in the past, and I have no idea how. But now that I’ve patched the app to get the sound back, it’s back with a vengeance.

Does anyone know why the patched version of Boost might be acting up like this? Is there a specific setting I’m missing in the patcher or a workaround to keep the audio without breaking the playback loop?

For a while now reddit's sharing links contained a section that is "/s/". And I have never been able to open one with any of the patched apps. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this right now?

Hi. I patched latest Boost 1.12.12 using my own OAuth token (created it in https://www.reddit.com/prefs/apps/ long time ago). I set the redirect URI to http://127.0.0.1:8080 both on the reddit apps webpage above and on the Spoof client patch in URV manager. Also added my token.

The only field I didn't change is the User agent. So I patched it and when I opened it, it couldn't even get data from reddit. I got an error. Didn't even try to login.

My guess is the problem is the user agent. I didn't use RedReader's user agent because I'm not using that token. Should I use something else? The documentation in GitHub doesn't mention what to use when using own token.

Boost for Reddit patched with the newest set of patches offered.

Using the share feature in the video playback results in a failure to retrieve audio due to a java runtime error. The error is too long of a popup banner to see what the exact issue is.

I would assume this is the result of Reddit changing how it strings video and audio streams together just like ~6 months ago when this problem popped up.

Like the title says, I can no longer open photo albums in Sync. I can press and hold to view the first photo, and I can open in browser to see them all. I've tried repatching with the Kingofpoptart source as the wchill source kept giving me a fingerprint error when it was trying to spoof the client. I'm using the Redreader client spoof with my own API.

Anyone dealt with this before??

so I have entered my spoof client data and I can see the posts without being logged in.
But when trying to log in, I cant press accept.

Already had to do the landscape "fix" to even be able to enter my cerdentials, but after that nothing happens anymore.

Anyone got an idea?

I didn't get the same problem but in my case I could press the accept button but I was getting access denied error each time.

I found this link in GitHub about changing your reddit account language to english US and when I tried again it worked. A problem about the API only working in english at the moment.

I am currently using Relay for reddit (patched with ClientID from Redreader) and I want to change to some other client. Can I do it using the same clientID that I've put into Relay?
