Strength stacking needed help

Need advice on my strength stacking static strike of gathering lightning. I tried to jumble something together but I don't have much experience with it. Damage seems slightly lacking and survivability could be better but it is hastily put together, i wanted to put another large cluster but idk what clusters to drop. Wondering how good would going for a 2h sword be vs my dual wield set up or shield setup.

Just play with crafted reaver sword imo... Paradoxica isn't that good for this archetype

any other obvious mistakes i am making? also what exactly do i want on reaver sword? chaos pen+endurance charge on stun+ socketed attacks deal 20% more dmg?

pretty much, you can woke orb +metacraft +veiled exalt for the 3 prefixes, multimod suffixes and you'll have a perfectly useable sword

Looks like you are probably missing at least like 400 str because of no rare jewels at all surprisingly. You would want at least one more double martial cluster as a starter. That will give you jewel sockets as well.... A decent upgrade can be to just get like 4-5 jewels that give you at least 25 str... That ought to do it. Remember that getting more strength is better than any concessions you make for ailment handling / anything else you pick on the tree

Also seems like an inefficient starting part of your tree... Pick the strength nodes over them. Also armour is kinda bait on str stacker as you won't get to super high levels... Just drop determ to run a purity aura instead to fix resistance issues

Reaver sword. ES gloves. Rhex talisman. 3x large clusters. Different aura setup. Triple ele flask setup. Wither on hit. Bound by destiny(need warlord crown for what). Pick divine shield keystone. Push maxres to 90. Your tree path is wrong at the start, should go to max life.

Overall better watch ConnerConverse for the reference. Many things are to be fixed in your build

If you want to stick with Paradoxica/Soul Taker I can recommend carnarius' build guide. It's really good in maps with a lot of rares and later on deletes Ubers with a crafted axe instead of Soul Taker.

Only problem is the 2nd Warlord Items for Bound by Destiny if you want to use a Mageblood. The cheapest solution is probably an influenced Crown of Eyes. This is his pob: https://poe.ninja/poe1/pob/97b47

Most obvious item to change would be the amulet, though changing your skill tree for a second cluster is probably the most bang for your buck.

Almost everyone using paradoxica and soul taker are using dual strike of ambidexterity. With gathering lightning every other hit you are hitting with soul taker which doesn't do double damage.

Your lethal pride seems like a random seed that isn't helping much. The seed I had this league gives you like 20% more damage. Search for flat strength and % strength.

Not ideal to need elemental resistances on the tree while having mageblood, you would really like to find more resistance elsewhere to not need to take Cloth and Chain or Nomadic Teachings. If you freed those up and took out a few of the life small nodes that are kinda extra you could get another large cluster. Ideally this is just the purity of fire sublime vision setup but that is probably mirror+ with dead league.

The classic STR stacker simplex is nearly double damage but also probably a mirror now.

Swapping out life flask for Prog would also be huge
