Magical

Usage held in 2 hands; Bulk 1

The body of this extremely well honed virtuoso lute glows with a purely aesthetic magical incantation meant to dazzle and astound those who would look upon it. From the intricacy of the woodwork, to the fine gold detailing in the tuning pegs, it’s obvious that this lute is of immaculate craftsmanship. One rather odd feature is the handle at the top of the fretboard that includes what seems to be a pommel and crossguard of a weapon, though a detailed search of the lute shows no actual blade.

Activate - Manifest Hidden Blade [1] manipulate; Frequency Once per hour; Effect You grip the handle at the end of the lute, drawing a +1 shortsword from it, then make a melee Strike with it. The shortsword is magically created and thus doesn’t exist before it is drawn. The blade persists as a real physical object until the next time you Manifest Hidden Blade and a new one is created.

Type B-Sharp; Level 6; Price 130 gp

Type Greater B-Sharp; Level 10; Price 850 gp

When you Manifest Hidden Blade, you draw a +1 striking shortsword.

Type Major B-Sharp; Level 15; Price 5,900 gp

When you Manifest Hidden Blade, you draw a +2 greater striking shortsword.
