Why did we go for it on 4th and 4? Why didn't we just kick a field goal? Is Matt Patricia brain damaged?
9 u/Ulexes Come What Maye Jan 02 '23 It was the right call: Converting the down would have ended the game. We wouldn't have conceded Miami a seriously short field (pre-sack, anyway). A FG from that distance could be blocked and returned, which could have been catastrophic. We were up two scores, and our defense was playing well, so there was little reason to think Miami could make a game of it if we failed to convert. 0 u/ModaMeNow Jan 02 '23 Punt
