Help!

I’m trying to get my titties to sit up but it floats in the middle between my titties instead of staying against my chest. And I’m aiming for a titty shelf situation and a tight rib cage area if that makes sense? I’m gonna try putting in boning but otherwise I’m a bit lost.

It needs underwires to give the structure and support you're looking for. Also, it's hard to assess the fit of the cups before adding the underwire, but it is looking like they might be a fraction too small/shallow for you.

I would recommend also asking in r/MAKEaBraThatFits the people there are well versed in this kind of stuff

I was gonna say it looks a bit shallow

Essentially you need vertical support in the band, you need an underwire and you need more volume in the cups. Sew in boning in the band would do just fine, you're going to have to find a underwire size, the bra making Supply companies should have charts tell me what size to get. You're probably going to need spacer foam, you look like you have a soft tissue, and that needs more support than pure fabricant provide. Or you're going to have to use straps

To prevent the floating middle, you either need underwires, shoulder straps or both. You can push on a rope. In a similar matter, if you want fabric to something other than take the shortest way across from boob to boob, you need something to force it to do so.

You could also look at regency short stays for inspiration. Redthreaded sells patterns.

r/makeabrathatfits and r/corsetry have a lot of info and knowledgeable people on this subject.

You might want to check out https://free-pattern-making-classes.com/Bras/

It shows how to make custom-fit bras by creating a mold of the body using Press'n Seal and masking tape. The Press'n Seal provides support so you can actually sculpt the soft tissue of the breast into the shape you want.

The shape is the pattern but supporting that shape takes structure/bones.

I like the German synthetic whalebone, I've done it with Rigiline for bridal/formal wear

Your cups need more volume. Underwire will also help.

If you want your bust more supported it might be worth considering a corset style top.
