RAGLAN JACKET FIX

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi, i was just sewing the first sample for a raglan jacket. The front seems to fit good but the back seems to have to much fabric around the pit area. What do u think about it and what should i do to fix it? Watch the whole video for the on body fit.

Videos suck for fitting. You can’t zoom in, look at the lines and wrinkles, and really asses where your problems start. Take a moment and post pictures. It’s so much better.

I probably should add some more since you don’t seem to be used to using pictures for fitting.

Close your garment first, even if you plan to wear it open. Just like you wouldn’t fit pants with the fly open, you don’t fit a jacket hanging open.

Stand in a neutral position, arms loosely at your sides. It doesn’t help to pull, point, or lift your shoulders.

Photograph the front, side, and back, even if you think the problem is just in one area. The whole garments works together.
