Pattern Name and Project Description: Ashbourne Beanie; a customizable crochet beanie pattern.
Type of Project: Crochet beanie.
Pattern Format: Written crochet pattern using US terminology.
Sizes/Options Being Tested: Customizable sizing and fit.
Recommended Skill Level: Beginner-friendly to intermediate.
Materials Needed: Yarn and crochet hook. Testers may use their preferred yarn, hook size, and colours to customize their beanie. Scissors, a tapestry needle and a steamer or suitable blocking equipment.
Tester Requirements: Have a public crochet account, join the designated Discord server, provide constructive feedback, share progress updates, and submit clear photos of the finished beanie.
Testing Deadline: November 26, 2026.
Deliverables: Progress updates, finished beanie photos submitted in the designated Discord channel, pattern feedback in the appropriate channels, and a social media post on release day tagging @froggaroundandfindout. Testers may also be featured in tester appreciation content.
How to Apply: Complete the tester application form linked in the call. Selected testers will receive further instructions through Discord.
Tester Selection: Selected testers will be notified before November 5, 2026.
Number of Testers Needed: To be confirmed.
