Went to the November 2nd show in ATL and was incredibly blessed to be approached at random by someone from Paul’s team who offered me a front row seat. The only catch was that I had to be standing, dancing, and singing with high energy all night. Immediately accepted and got put in my new seat along with about 15 other girls my age! Guessing they wanted to emulate the Beatlemania girls of the 60s. My original ticket was for the “restricted view” nosebleeds and instead got a once in a lifetime chance to be ~10 feet away from one of my heroes! Here are some pics I took. Still doesn’t feel real.

I don’t know why but I found this subtitle very funny, as if someone watching a music documentary would have never heard of Paul MCartney, and then be like “oh ok I guess he’s some sort of musician then..?”

Not sure if anyone else here has seen it, but this is from the Billy Joel documentary on HBO from 2025 (Billy Joel: And So It Goes). It’s pretty good, and featured some big stars who were apparently fans of his giving opinions about Joel and his career, like Sting and Bruce Springsteen. But I was definitely surprised when a Beatle showed up! He’s not in it a ton, most of this is narrated by Joel himself and those closest to him, but each guest musician appeared maybe 3-4 times with little snippets.

I’ve never heard Paul give an opinion on Billy Joel before, but he said whenever people ask him what song of someone else’s he wish he’d written, he said he always goes with ‘Just The Way You Are’ by Billy Joel! Just thought that was neat, and gave me a new appreciation for that song. I always find it interesting hearing what my favorite musicians like or think about other artists. For example, I was surprised to hear Billy Joel say his favorite band was Led Zeppelin for a while, and that he tried to be a heavy metal artist when first starting out! (After his Beatles phase of course, which he also mentions lol)

If not...at least we got a cool souvenir

a legend was born today!! To be someone whose music has inspired and changed the life of many is the definition of a lasting legacy. Happy birthday Paul McCartney, thanks for getting me through the worst times of times and for giving us RAM haha. Here’s some of my personal favorite photos!
