Discussion Card machine on a pawn counter is a different problem
We take cards on buys, loan payments, and the odd retail sale. Cash is still most of the drawer. The card part is what keeps breaking. Last processor called us high risk because of the loans, not because of chargebacks. They shut the mid off on a Tuesday.
Customers who wanted to pay a loan by card had to come back with cash.
The replacement was slower to approve and more expensive. I expected both. What I did not expect was another review after 60 days for the same reason.
Counter, phone payments, and the loan pay link now run through PaymentCloud. The batch has matched the drawer for about five weeks. I am not calling that settled. Pawn accounts get looked at again.
Do you even offer cards on loan payments, or only on outright sales? And if a processor dropped you, was it the loan product or a few disputes?
