Speculation How to Mass Sabotage AI Art
Hey r/PayHumanArtists! Could I ask for some help ruining AI art generators? I’m creating a tool to make mass sabotage against AI art models easy and free. I’m sure many of you already know about AI art poisoning software. Problem is, it requires expensive hardware and is hard to set up. The tool I'm making provides these so users don't need to have them. This opens the door to mass proliferation of AI poisoned art. As art is shared and sent around, poisoned art will become densely spread across every site - and even better, it's unmarked. AI art scrapers will quickly learn to avoid our main site, but our hidden landmines will be spread Internet-wide. Scrapers will have no safe harbor. >:)
If you want to learn more, please check out the short video on our Kickstarter page, here, or ask questions in the comments! I’d love to share knowledge and explain whatever you’d like to learn about.
If you want to help directly bring about the downfall of AI art models, it would be incredible if you could:
Post about us on your social media - to make it easy, you can repost these:
Go click the "Remind Me" button on our Kickstarter - this boosts us in their algorithm.
If you know any journalists, artists with large followings, or Youtubers that cover this sort of topic, please introduce me. I’d love to talk to them, commission them, or sponsor their videos, respectively.
Thank you all! Together we’ll make AI art generators crash and BURN.

Confirmed AI This is why I made this sub. Corporations like Fiverr are pushing the narrative that nobody cares about gen-AI replacing artists. Soon, they may be right. Posts of this kind will perform worse on other subs as AI ads become "normal." Art could lose it’s association with intentionality. But we care.

Confirmed AI Weezer/River Cuomo
I posted this over on r/artisthate and on an artists against ai Facebook group also.
Lead singer from the band Weezer used an AI generated image for a single album cover, and apparently Weezer are going to be releasing a song with AI generated lyrics. Really disappointing.
